Super 8 by Wyndham Niagara Falls NY

The staff was excellent, Robert was so helpful in every way made us feel right at home and went above what he had to do. Every aspect of our stay was great!! Will be booking again there.

It was updated with more of a hotel feel than a motel feel

The rooms had holes and tons of scuff marks on the walls. The bathrooms had broken tiles and dirt around the edges

Out stay was pleasant and quiet. Will come back.

The only problem we had was the shower chair did fit in the tub. Therefore my handicap friend that hasMS couldn’t take a shower. She had to wash up at the sink, because she has to sit. However thing else was very good as always.

Unfortunately, we were very unhappy with our stay. I would personally not recommend staying here. Pay the extra money to be closer to the falls and get better service, be safer, and benefit from thicker walls. Pros: The bed was comfortable Only a short drive from the falls - just be ready to drive and pay for parking Fairly decent breakfast offering General manager was local and knew many different great places to check out Room was spacious Cons: General Manager did NOT wear a mask while talking with me or while working at breakfast bar despite COVID restrictions. Cleaning staff did not wear masks or gloves despite COVID spikes when cleaning rooms. Walls/ceiling were VERY thin. We could hear people walking around, mattresses squeaking (both nights). We requested a room on the second floor since we got very little sleep the first night. General manager promised there was no need to and that no one would be given the room above us. Untrue as we were woken at 4 a.m the second night by someone waking around above us and more squeaking mattress noises. The next morning he told me that was out of his control (not true since he could have moved us the first time I asked). He seemed to be gearing up to blaming that on hotels.com, but I have been moved before with a booking from hotels.com. Trolleys coming past the hotel are few and far between to take you to the falls. It's not walking distance. Shower head spray was disappointing and bathroom sink was clogged.

Robert at the front desk made this place! Very friendly, good eating recommendation, engaged my kids with a scavenger hunt when we were going to Niagara Falls. Loved having the breakfast, despite the COVID restrictions..very handy and filling! The room was spacious, beds a little springy but after 1 week in different hotel rooms might have been my back crying UNCLE. Location was nice and central. Only thing was bummed about after getting home is the bill. First night, Thursday was $70 and then 2nd night (Friday albeit) was $98.. yikes. So double check this I guess.
