About what I expected for the type of hotel, but we were in need of a last minute place to stop for the night that allows pets. The late night front desk person was very friendly. The property is badly in need of a face lift. The carpets in the halls and stairs were badly worn and there was the stench of pot smoke in the hall (so sick of that being the case at pretty much every hotel at this point, regardless of location or quality). The bathroom had obviously been recently painted, which was a plus, but wasn't super clean (hair, streaks, etc.). The biggest issue was the fact that the carpet in the room was truly *disgusting*. Do not walk on it barefoot! It was badly stained and was damp and really really sticky. The sheets and pillows felt kind of damp also. Too long without the A/C on possibly? Breakfast was, um, limited.... There was a bag of Walmart brand bread and a couple of packets of Walmart brand oatmeal. The juice machine wasn't even turned on. No fruit, no yogurt. The waffle machine was on but the batter was just about empty at 9am. Wouldn't stay again.

The room was clean, the desk staff were friendly, and the a/c worked well. There’s little more I need for a budget motel in this price range.

I can't recommend.
Definitely getting what you pay for, possibly a little less. The comforter was dirty, there was hair in the bed, and there were what appeared to be still hairs from shaving in the bathroom sink. I'm really not picky when it comes to a budget hotel, but there are some standards that are the very basics that I expect. I think the dirty sink was the worst part. I feel like if you're traveling in this area there are probably better budget options that are cleaner.

Everyone was friendly and great to talk to. The middle marks for cleanliness werent actually for it being dirty...moreso the age of the property is showing. I think everyone does the best they can with what they have.
