Super 8 by Wyndham Algona

no ones was there upon check in waited 1/2 hours repeated to call thew security gate to the office is locked down 24/7 now i no why. our rooms were exceptionally dirty. Rugs were not cleaned. sheets had stains, hairs on bathroom floors tub was disgusting, mirror looking like someone sneezed all over it years ago and was never cleaned. If you stay for longer then one day you will have to get new card keys programmed each day. mini breakfast is a joke. bring your own batteries for the TV remote and you may have to change the battery back up in the smoke alarm. Complaining is useless there is no management. The one good thing is they had a shovel to shovel snow to clear the walk ways because no one else did it. This is a typical Indian run down establishment where the investment group Harium Hospitality L.L.C squeezes every dollar out of they place without putting a penny into it. They have no manager on location.

Dont waist your money, the rooms are small and old they smell like stale cigarettes and beer, and their was pubic hair all over the bathroom and in the bed

Nothing was unique unless your call a dir5y show, in 1st room ok. In 2nd room dirty shower not quiet as bad as 1st, filthy heater/ air unit, filfthy frig an microwave wound bt 9k to you. If i would not have been tired or sore i would have gone to different motel. I also never received a receipt.

We let the person at the desk about the slight problem we had and he went out of his way to take care of it. Excellent service.

It was NOT clean. Bug in the bathroom. Pubic hair in the tub. Counter tops were smeared. Like they were wiped with a dirty rag. Curtain was not hung ...like it was missing hooks at the top. Chair shoved in a corner...actually there should have been no chair because the was no room for it. Hallways were dark and damp. There was a floor fan running all night.

I was greeted nicely. The computer was very slow so there was no paperwork to sign and No one was at the desk in the morning so I'll print my receipt off the Hotels website. The air wasn't on so the room was stuffy initially but it cooled off rather quickly. There were whiskers all over the sink so it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned. There was garbage in the bathroom from the previous guest and the showerhead was in dire need of a good cleaning. I had hoped for a more comfortable mattress but I slept well enough.

A great hotel with friendly staff. We were very impressed

The location was excellent. easy access to the business district, restaurants, and the highway to take me to the attraction I wanted to visit.

The absolute worst Hotel I have stayed in throughout my entire life. Property was absolutely filthy. Room was damp and smelled horrible. Linens had burn holes and stains on them. Carpeting was not vacuumed. Wall unit a/c had broken grates and dust/spider webs covering the vent area. Only one of the three lamps in the room worked. An absolute horrible experience. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have this property in their portfolio.
