Super 8 by Wyndham Muncie/Ball St. College Area

Our room met our needs for a brief overnight stay in Muncie. The beds were comfortable, TV worked and a nice fridge that we did not use. The in room coffee pot would not be sufficient for my morning coffee routine. Due to the virus only coffee with basic condiments, was served in the lobby. No hot tea available for my mom. Off to Starbucks. The location is central to everything in Muncie.

Room was okay. You need to bottled water available at all times. Your vending machine was out which should never happen on a weekend. I get that places don't serve a big hot breakfast anymore. But just serving one banana and 2 mini muffins??? Would be understandable if your room charge was lowered. Will call ahead of time to see what other places offer for breakfast just to see if what they offer justifies the cost.

Overall the building is old and needs updating. The drain in the bathtub did not work. When we turn the heater on it smelled like it was burning. Shower designed for 5 foot people.

Check in and out the staff were very friendly. The room was presentable but not very clean. The shower had a crusted up ball of curly hair stuck to the wall. It made the stay uncomfortable. I pulled the bed down to crawl in and the first thing I see is some old, what appeared to be blood stains on the sheets. I slept on the opposite side of the bed on top of the towels in my room bc it was late when I returned to the hotel. I took all the bedding off the bed at check out to see what the actual cleanliness of the bed was. One zippered pillow case was badly stained, not even sure if it was ever cleaned. There was a small chunk of something black between the sheet and the mattress protector. I will most likely choose another hotel during my next visit. They need to up their game plan when it comes to cleaning!

Have a lot to learn when accommodating people with disabilities. Telling a customer who needs wheelchair access bathrooms that there is no elevator and they will have to walk upstairs to a more accessable room with a wheelchair access bathroom is ridiculous. Staff don't seem to care to interact with customers. Even for check in, or check out. Acted like they were doing me a favor, or no one at the desk. Also, don't advertise limited continental breakfast if you aren't doing anything at all. It's misleading.

we have stayed here a couple times before. The rooms are always clean and staff is friendly. There is plenty of eating places near by as well as shopping stores. Nice ,quiet.

Nice clean place. That's most important to me. They do allow dogs but I was not traveling with mine this time. No breakfast due to Covid. Has about 8 trailer parking spots which was important to me. Big enough for semis. Wall mounted AC was loud but kept the place cool. Plenty of eats within walking distance.

The Room was clean and quiet. FYI, Bring a pillow because there are only 3 pillows on the king size bed and due to Covid no extra pillows.

Low price. Everything nearby

The room and location were OK. But a person or a dog in the room directly above us paced up and down the floor almost half the nite. We would like a refund, as we had to get up super early for a special event and, due to the noise, we didn’t sleep well at all. Please help us with a refund.
