Hampton Inn Cumming

Great reception staff. Found us a better room than we reserved, and allowed us to check in early

The hotel is located close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Overall our stay was okay. We typically stay in Hampton Inns. This particular hotel needs work however it appears that there is renovation on going. There is a mildre smell in the lobby and hallways. The carpet in the hallway has seen better days.

I booked through Expedia and my rate on there was not the same when I went to go pay. It was more. I booked a king sized bed with a king sized whirlpool and got a stand in shower instead. No tub at all. They were doing remodeling in the rooms near me and was not told ahead of time. My view was old dirty tubs under my window. And the room didn’t smell good. I was too tired to say anything and just wanted to go to sleep. Only stayed for two nights and there was no point in saying I wanted to change rooms my last night. But I will not be staying there again.

The hotel was convenient to everything - Waffle House, Steak & Shake, Chili's, etc. That's about all there is in Cumming, GA is food and shopping. The hotel was good. The room was mis-represented on Hotels.com. I was told I had a room with a jetted tub and found out when we got there that they have no jetted tubs. I learned from the hotel staff to call the hotel directly before booking through Hotels.com because they will probably give me a better rate in the future. I knew this was the case with things like Groupon and Grubhub. I guess the same things applies with hotels. The front desk staff was awesome...very accommodating. Parking is a little messed up because they share a parking lot with a Comfort Suites. Many things were impacted by the Quarantine....pool use, breakfast, etc. Tough trip but not all the hotels fault.

Very clean hotel and very aware of need for sanitation. Staff very helpful. AC started making noise around 9 pm. They moved us to another convenient room.

Overall was great but the AC was bad in the room. Couldn't get it to cool down overnight after a late check in. Was way too tired to mess with it. haha.

I was told to conserve money for lack of business due to the virus the hotel had to shut off water and electricity to the un used units. I came in on the 13th of march and was staying fo 10 days and on the 18th of march they shut my cold water OFF!!! I was offerd to move up 1 flr when i specifically requested down stairs and now i was told that the entire bottom flr is full. I have physical restrictions and I don't appreciated being forced to move. Thats NOT OK!!!! I PAID GOOD MONEY TO STAY HERE!!! In the midst of this virus pendemic and IM BEING TOLD TO be uncomfortable.and TO NOT STAY WHERE I FEEL SAFE.
