Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga Downtown

Room was old out dated. The floor in the room was dirty. There were roles in the wall and stains on the ceiling. The $18 a night for parking was crazy for a parking lot rite behind the building. I stayed at three different Hilton on my trip and this one was the worst one and the most expensive one. Lady at the front desk didn’t know how to take my payment when we were checking in.

This is a very basic hotel. Good location. close to restaurants, aquarium and downtown. They do not have free WIFI or parking which I found annoying. The pool was very unappealing and I never saw anyone using it.

Great location, lots of activities within short walking distance. Hotel is clean and in good repair. Staff is friendly and helpful. My biggest complaints: $18/day for on-site parking, valet and self park is same price. Cheaper options are relatively close but who wants to walk through town to get to their vehicle. I know that real estate in downtown is precious but if you're staying there you should be able to park there. Pool closes at 7 PM due to Covid,,,,,,REALLY! There's some real sound science behind that idiotic decision. The Covid force field is apparently solar powered so it doesnt work after dark. My kids hate you. If you just need to stay in town and aren't worried about using the pool and the hidden charges, this is a good option. I will look elsewhere for my next visit.

The first room my fiance and i were booked in had a few problems. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned thoroughly ei, some moldy spots in and around to tub and black stuff in the sink. The tv also had a black bar running across the top as if it had previously been damaged. I went down to the front desk and explained the situation and we were set up with a different room right away! The next room was perfect! We've stayed at this hotel many times with no issues whatsoever. Very pleased with the friendly staff and customer service!

The bed and pillows were HORRIBLE. The pool was not kept in good condition. There was rust on the light fixtures in the bathroom and missing wallpaper.

Even though there were little to no other people staying the same night the restrictions inhibited us from using any amenities Room was over priced and we should not have had to pay for parking.

Great location. A lot of things to walk to including river walk, the aquarium and restaurants. 1/2 block away is also a fee shuttle. Staff was suoer friendly and helpful.

Did not know that there will be $18 valet parking per day. No luggage cart was available upon checking in. Carried our stuff back and forth in 3 trips. Bed was horrible, can feel wires. It was clean. Upon check in the front desk asked if we would need room service. That was a first ever to be asked that. Hallways were dirty not vacuumed.

This hotel is in a great location!! It’s very clean and the staff is great!! This is definitely a wk Derrick place to stay!!

Location is great! Right next door to the Children’s Discovery Museum and a short walk to the aquarium and river. We also enjoyed the proximity to restaurants downtown. We had a junior Suite and it worked great for our family of 2 adults and 3 small kids (all under age of 5) because the couch folded out into a bed. They had grab and go bags for breakfast that were ok but not great. We were disappointed with the shortened pool hours— they changed it to 10 am to 7 pm. We were planing on swimming early since our kids get up at 630. We would stay here again.
