Richmond Istanbul

The location was great and the guys on the front desk were incredibly helpful, helping us with booking trips, restaurant reservations, generala advice. They were supportive of my girlfriend who had just had surgery and attentive to her needs. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was clean and in a good location with many nice restaurants outside. One particular staff member was rude and unhelpful. We had a family member who was stopping by for a hour before we left for the day and they would not allow him to come to our room for 5 minutes. If we wanted to talk to him it could only be in lobby or outside. He was not even allowed to go and use the bathroom. We thought this was unbelievable.

I had a fantastic stay at the Richmond. It’s position is right in the heart of the action and the facilities are clean and modern. The service on the front desk was terrific, especially from Engin who checked me in promptly and helped me arrange a late check out without any fuss.

Nice and confortable hotel,excellent locaation

I’d highly recommend this hotel when staying in Istanbul. It’s located on the new side of Istanbul on the main shopping street but centrally located so that it’s easy enough to get public transport to all the main attractions on the other side in the old town. The staff were all very friendly and happy to assist with queries and advice on where to go. My only advice would be to organize a hotel shuttle from the airport as the hotel is located on a mostly pedestrian street which caused confusion for our taxi on how to get to the hotel.

Excellent staff especially the staff at breakfast are so excellent in service I was amazed ....please repair the door of 502 I was staying in that....I tried to extend my visit but could not

Efficient staff, friendly, helpful, eager to fulfill our requests. Great breakfast, clean spacious room. My wife and myself are very happy with choosing this hotel.

Very good stay. Staff are really helpful. Only challenge there is no ramp for kids on trolleys. However the staff assisted in carrying the stroller up. Got a late check out too.

The hotel is located on one of the main pedestrian thoroughfare's in the city, a stones throw from restaurants, shops, traditional markets and was easy to walk everywhere or to the Metro. The staff were great ,very helpful, excellent service. We booked two rooms , a double and a twin. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. I had an issue with the toilet flush sticking but called reception and the sent someone to fix it straight away. Can't fault the hotel and would stay there again.
