Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Francisco Airport

Great hospitality!

I love it here at Fairfield Inn it made me feel welcomed and the staff was great.

I was looking for a comfortable hotel with breakfast where I could rest after a long day of traveling and then work in the morning, and that is exactly what I received. The breakfast was good and had eggs, and I felt like it was very clean and they took precautions regarding covid. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We missed our breakfast because at check-in no one told us the schedule and the breakfast tickets had only menu selections but no schedule either. We left without our breakfast. Very disappointing.

The check in process was ok. I specifically asked to be placed in a quiet room but was woken up twice: Once by the loud street traffic and then a maid knocked on my door at 8:45 AM to ask me what time I was checking out of the hotel. Checkout time is at noon and there was a do not disturb sign on my door. The maid was a bit attitudinal so I had to report her to the front desk. Not a pleasant experience as I could tell this was a common practice of disturbing guests early in the morning. Won’t stay again!

There was a lot of stuff not working like the AC and it was 102 degrees so that was a must to have then the 2 phones from the room not working the microwave. It wasn’t very clean the bathroom specially the tub. It was just a lot not being taken care of. We got there so tired to be dealing with so much going on. Plus in the halls of the hotel they didn’t have no ac super hot like really really hot. Not what I was expecting. The only good thing is that the rooms are a good size u have the room.

The mentioned shuttle service from airport and back did not exist. Had to pay $20 for 5 min taxi ride to each direction.

The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the couch area was great and large enough (I had a visitor) for two people to stay six feet apart simply by moving the chair back a bit. The staff at the front desk were extremely nice and thoughtful, and explained the changes to the breakfast very well. It's very close and convenient to the airport - would have been a perfect stay if the shuttle were working, but that's the pandemic's fault, not the hotel. This was an emergency stay (flying standby and got bumped from my connecting flight), but everything was as easy and convenient as if I'd been planning weeks in advance.

The front seat clerk was so accommodating!!

Clean, quiet, nice personnel. That's what I like the hotel.
