PGA National Resort and Spa

I booked 1 night to spend with my husband to celebrate his birthday and our wedding anniversary. To start I waiting at the front desk for 10 mins waiting to check in. There was nobody there. They had a sigh that read “stepped away, will be back shortly “ finally somebody came, thankfully checkin was fast. Finally get in our room and had to rush to get ready for our dinner reservations. I called room service to get 2 wine glasses so we could have a glass of wine before we leave. They didn’t take too long. When we got back from dinner I said let’s run the bubble bath. I looked into the tub and there was somebody’s hair all up in it. THANKFULLY I brought my own personal Clorox wipes and began wiping everything down because clearly they didn’t do a great job with cleaning. Then I realized I didn’t see robes or slippers in the room that it said the room comes with. (Note: I booked a spa suite room) I called the front about the robes and they said they will bring them over. 35 mins pass by and still no robes. So then my husband calls them about robes and 10 mins later they come. I’m very disappointed about my stay. and definitely wouldn’t recommend. You do not get what you paid for when it comes to this resort. And don’t even get me started on my checkout experience.

The frustration began from the moment I arrived. I was told there would be a resort fee due at property of $189.84. When I checked in, the resort required a deposit of $100 per night instead. I was NOT prepared for a $600 hold on my card. I was only prepared for the $189.84 fee. This was my experience and my colleagues experience also. No one was happy about this misleading information. We stayed 6 nights and NOT ONCE received room service. We had garbage piled in multiple corners of the room because no one would collect garbage. We asked for it several times. We had to go to the desk to get towels, toilet paper, and extra garbage bags because no one tended to the room. We had a Junior Suite and expected more from the PGA Resort.

Great place! Definitely recommend it for a weekend gataway

Awesome customer service and lovely ambience and excellent value for money.I love the 12 pm and not 11 am check out time. Keep it up.

No valet. No bell hop. No restaurant. No housekeeping. No carts. No phone answering. If they are open they should provide at least the basics that other hotels in the area does. Their restrictions were unique to them.

Hotel amenities reduced due to Covid-19, but it was perfectly fine since the resort fee was eliminated and the room rate reduced substantially resulting in a really great value for a wonderful resort. We even stayed an extra night that wasn't originally planned.

PGA National always is best for ours family very happy very clean and we love to staying there always we come back

The property was OK, however some areas need renovations. The amenities were quite limited due to COVID restrictions, including Pool access, restaurants, bars and the spa. Having said that, we stayed because of the golf and nothing else. Golf is outstanding. Bring your golfing buddies, send the family to the beach.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The reason for my review is that they have an awesome pool, that you can’t use. You have to make a 2 hour reservation slot and when we checked in at 5:00 (Check in is at 4:00) we were told all the reaervations for 12:00-2:00 and 2:00 - 4:00 were taken. The whole poi t of our trip was to do a staycation and relax by the pool. Also, no real breakfast serves at any of the restaurants.
