Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor Hotel & Convention Center

Very friendly staff very helpful at reception,,, at the breakfast chefs and waiters go out of there way to help you. Especially good to see waiters sanitizing tables after a guest has left, Rooms very clean and well maintained felt very safe in this hotel.

The staff was very attentive. The room was cleaned and very pleasant. The hotel has several restaurants.

A great place to stay in Luxor. Not once did we need to ask for anything more or for anything to be modified

This property was awful. I requested an early check in over two months in advance and even confirmed the arrival time based on my flight. The hotel is 15 mins from the airport. Upon arrival, they tried to give me a room different from the room type I paid for AND I had to wait almost two hours in the lobby for them to get the room ready. While I was waiting, the representative told me that there was an early check in fee of $30. This was completely from left field considering that it is not posted ANYWHERE and it was not communicated before hand. The TV is the smallest TV I've ever seen, maybe 20 inches. Also they just take REALLY good pictures. It's clearly a very old hotel that they used cheap materials to make it look like it's nice, but it's not worth the price. The bathtub stopper didn't even work, and the hotel toiletries were also sub par. I asked how much the shuttle was to the airport and was informed it was $50 USD which is outrageous for a 15 min drive. The balcony door didn't even lock, and someone could climb over to our balcony and enter the room if they wanted. I discovered it on my second day there. They didn't even have an iron in the room. I would never stay here, ever again. Get a nice hotel somewhere else.

The hotel is huge with a excellent facilities. The pool area and numerous restaurants were great. Nice view of the Nile and service was attentive in the pool area and restaurants. We had good service at the pool area each afternoon and we were seated at the Italian Restaurant but ate from the opposite restaurant’s menu. The food was tasty. The room we were in was modern with a view of the courtyard and it had a balcony. We organised a taxi through the concierge to take us to Souk St market, however the driver took us to a shop instead, telling us that it was Souk St. I’m sure he would have received a commission if we had bought anything. The hotel needs to use trustworthy drivers in the future.

The staff are very friendly and the view from our deck was so fun. The breakfast buffet had suck a variety. We enjoyed our stay here.

WiFi service should be free of charge for Guests which is in most part of the world. The food quality is mediocre and needs an uplift.

The staff was super friendly, but the amenities was terrible! The smell was unbearable!! Thank goodness I brought some of my own!
