North Bay at Lake Arrowhead

It’s a timeshare place, expect that things are not in perfect condition & not hotel-like in provisions. Couches/sofa bed are old. If you requested for a double queen bed, make sure it is really a queen bed, not a double sofa bed. No good conditioning of the room but just Heat/Fan function only during a summer/heatwave stay but winter time is cold mountain weather as usual. Beware of pre-existing slight damage & stains on bathroom sink & toilet cover & dining table. Main door to secure both room units is not locking at all, so entry key card works only on your room door itself. And your room’s door has additional upper chain lock at least. Service front desk can have irregular closing hours. Make sure to check-in early or do your business before 4:00 pm. Front desk can close after that & no one answers the phone from there but just their after-hours answering service who only takes messages. No one returned my calls so I can also report some damage that I saw on one of the sliding door blinds.

This place is like a home away from home. It was so cute and private. The kitchenette comes with all the essentials you need. It’s very quiet and beautiful. The check in and out process was very quick and easy. This place was not like any place I’ve stayed before. Excellent experience and I cannot wait to stay here again!

We have stayed here twice this past couple of months because of the cleanliness and the easy check in and check out. My kids have enjoyed their time in the pool area. Only negative is the sofa bed is very uncomfortable but the regular beds are good.

Not at all what we expected, the place is dirty and outdated. Would not recommend

The property was lovely. And the front guest services person when we checked in was very helpful and sweet. The only thing that was a little bit strange was we did not know when we booked it that this was a timeshare condo we thought it was a hotel. You had to have a gate code to get into the property but it was easily fixed by a phone call.

So we took a chance on an overnight getaway while this Covid-9 is still going (stage two I believe. We get to our destination not knowing that there is an entry gate that needed a code. The Hotels.com site has a contact number, but the usual reception people had deferred everything to an off-site company that truly did not know how to help us. Eventually, once we followed another vehicle into the grounds, my date finally was able to talk to someone who had told her that the envelope with all the information we needed was in a lockbox by the (abandoned) reception area. Anyhow, after about 40 minutes, we got into our place, which was lovely!

Some renovations are needed in the rooms, especially new sleeper Couch. Staff is very helpful and friendly and amenities are great.

I like the privacy of each room. There were different activities to participate in. The equipment can use upgrades but it’s good enough to play... No major dislikes, the place can use upgrades to have a more modern look but overall decent place.
