Comfort Inn And Suites Amarillo

HVAC made noises, squealing noises. Staff was not very friendly at all.

It was a great stay. Grandkids were happy, happy.

I found this hotel to be a great deal. It obviously is not a 4 star hotel, but the quality of the hotel in comparison to the price was amazing. The staff was super kind and helpful. The children enjoyed the pool. Our room was just whatbwe needed. Certain things like a jacuzzi tub were outdated and didn't work. Overall we felt safe and comfortable. We even booked it for the way back from our roadtrip as well.

We had not even checked out of our room yet, and it was not even 9 am and we came back upstairs from checking out the “breakfast” and the housekeepers were tearing our room apart cleaning for the next guest. We were not happy to see this.

In the time of Covid, it is imperative to stand by your procedures and promises. We chose Choice hotels because of their extra commitment to a clean and safe environment. However, quickly we learned that was not the case. The room had to be changed because ours was not only not sealed, but the door was opened. When we moved rooms, the fridge had been turned off and the smell was disgusting. After turning it on and cleaning the ridiculous amount of still water in the fridge, I went to heat my food. The microwave was filthy. These items are supposed to be sealed as an acknowledgment that they have been cleaned. Nothing was sealed. Along with this, when I first walked into to lobby there were no sanitation stations (as promised by Choice hotel commitments). When I asked, I was handed a bottle of rubbing alcohol. Along with this, what I assume was a maintenance worker, was leaning over the desk and not wearing a mask as he hung out with the front desk employee. The only good thing about this place was the morning shift.

It was extremely humid in our room

Our car was broken into and personal items were stolen. Very upset and will never stay in Amarillo Texas again and probably will never stay in another Comfort Inn again,

Me and my husband George stayed in the Comfort Inn on Soncy Road. It is a very clean hotel and is very close to a lot of Restaurants. We were there because my sister and her husband live there ,and we were spending Thanksgiving with them. We stayed a week. I love staying at this hotel. It is my favorite and they have a pool inside and a free breakfast and the ones that clean your room are so nice and so is the rest of the staff. I will definitely stay there again.

very nice experience. Very good room with good size. Not easy to get to due to road construction.

The hotel was decent and the staff was welcoming. Breakfast was disappointing, but that was because of COVID. Our suite was comfortable. The unusual part was that there was no where to hang a towel or wash cloth. Everything was neatly folded below the sink.
