When down to breakfast, thrrr is a mask mandate and is posted. Watch a person walk in front door no mask and stand for bout 10 minutes talkimg with desk attended never mentioned person needed mask. Same person walked ober grabed a donut and went back and continued to talk with desk clerk. Another person walked up to breakfast area with no mask and server themselves. Finally walked up amd asked if there was a mask mamdate and desk clerk confirmed there is and pointed out all observed. Advised all food sittomg out needed to be thrown away. Very disappointed this is rated a 9.2 hotel and they don't follow the laws. Desk clerk did tell person at food table they did need mask and they only said they do not have one. How did they get through check in without a mask?? Masks protect me and them durimg this difficult time! If they can't follow the laws they should not be allowed in the door. The desk clerks need to enforce the laws they are there for a reason.

Clean rooms and a comfortable bed and a nice breakfast in the morning

Very noisy. Guests slamming doors & partying through the night.

Doors were slamming until 2am, we could hear the lobby music throughout the night, and our bed creaked with minimal movement. Customer service was friendly and pleasing to talk to but overall we will not be returning. When traveling across the country, sleep is important. This place does not provide a comfortable and quiet place to sleep.

Overnight stay passing thru DesMoines. Stopped at Wildwood because of reviews on Hotels.com - not disappointed. Clean, large comfortable room. A Northwoods Lodge motiff, cute. Although we did not use it, the indoor pool looked really nice - a great place for family's on the road. Hot fresh breakfast - scrambled eggs, sausage & potatoes were prepared in the breakfast room so very fresh& a clean environment for those concerned about Covid. Nice people from checkout to checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was super clean and comfy. The pool was open, even though we didn’t end up using it. We had a whirlpool in our room and they even had extra towels for that, which rarely happens to us. It was close to everything we needed, including right next to multiple restaurants for dinner that night. Loved it, loved the service, would stay again.

Front desk was helpful and friendly. I found the property to be a bit run down and the room could have been cleaner (I won't mention what I found in the shower). My experience was not consistent with the 9+/10 rating.

Nice hotel, good price. Comfortabke bed, clean room. Separate aleeping space for the kids at night, nice pool and hot tub. One chair at the table in our room was a bit unsturdy, easily fixable. Good morning breakfast.

This hotel/lodge was great. All the positive reviews were spot on. The staff were super friendly, and the hotel was clean, nice and comfortable. When in the area again, we will definitely stay here.
