Beds were a little hard and one of the beds had sheets that had old stains on them.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was walking distance to a couple of different restaurants.
This is one of the worst Holiday Inn & Express hotels I have ever stayed in. Right off the bat, get up to my room, the sink and shower both are dripping where they weren’t turned off before us. Light next to the bed didn’t work, key cards stopped working, wouldn’t allow us to get into the room so not how I expected my night to go. 2 times up and down the elevator back down to the front desk where I had to get another key card made and still didn’t work, then by the 3rd time the lady at the front desk tells me she will bring up her key card to see if she could get in the room which we both proceed to the elevator and the elevator is stuck on the 1st floor wouldn’t go up and wouldn’t shut the doors. Her key card didn’t work either after have to walk 3 flights up the stairs cause the elevator was broke. I booked on hotels.com and paid for the room, when I got to the hotel they asked for my credit card saying they needed it for Incidental purposes, okay no problem. Come to find out the double charged me for the room. Then when I brought it to their attention they couldn’t even explain to me why I was charged. There is a reason there isn’t very many cars in the parking lot, but the hotel next door was packed no rooms available or parking spaces. If your looking for a nice hotel to stay at this definitely isn’t the one you want.
Checked in on 10/29/20, booked & paid in full for 2 rooms. On arrival they only had one listed. The attendant on staff was new & did not know the system enough. The room keys did not work on first attempt. Due to Covid there is no room cleaning, so you have to place dirty towels & garbage in hall for them to cleanup, making the halls “junky” feeling. I could not distinguish cleaning employees from guests as there was no dress code or uniform (employees vacuuming in sweatpants). Empty guest room doors left open 24/7, with questionable goings on outside & lobby area (smoking pot & possible hooker). Also, 3inches of standing water in tub during every shower due to extremely slow drain needing clearing. Mattresses with “sink holes” in middle making it impossible to sleep on. And the last morning was the topper when we discovered a cockroach crawling on my daughters suitcase as she was packing it. Then realized after she got dressed there was a large stinkbug on her back. Disgusted beyond words. Told the front desk and was told “oh, we(the hotel) will have to get it sprayed.” I always stay at Holiday Inns because my grandmother worked for one but no longer. I Do NOT recommend this one. The best part was the food attendant. She took her job very seriously, was clean & attentive. I wish I had gotten her name. Sweet lady.
Started by not having towels TV was not working. I hade to adjust myself I tried to reheat my supper but microwave did not work. I tried to call on phone to desk but the phone was not working Next morning I tried to shower no hot water

There were no vending machine pop machine broke ice machine broke room was ok had to leave just to get pop chips was not friendly at all
Nice lobby and rooms. Priced right! During Covid offered breakfast bags and fresh lobby coffee. Room had lots of amenities.
We chose this hotel because it was convenient to 270, was cheaper than some other options, and offered two queen beds. These were all positive attributes. Negatives included a room that smelled like smoke, all vending machines out of order, the card reader at the closest exterior door not working, and some staff not strictly adhering to wearing masks. We also had mixed experience at the front desk - the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly but the woman working the next day was indifferent at best. It met our needs, but we would choose another option if we were to stay in this area again.
Was the worst stay ever, smelled like sewer through out the entire 4 day stay, staff was horrible and rooms were nasty. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!
