Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dayton West - Brookville

Room not very clean water backed up in sink. Limited Grab and go breakfast. Kuerig in room had mold and old coffee grounds that had not been clean.

Stayed 1 night during Covid-19 and the staff was very friendly and followed all safety measures.

It definitely wasn’t the cleanest place we have stayed in. There was mildew in the shower, the bath didn’t work along with several outlets/lights and there was a bug crawling on our bed in the morning. The field by the hotel was full of beer cans so not really a “family” place to stay.

I picked this property because it was the closest hotel to Eaton, OH. I have stayed here several times in recent years, and I have never had any problems.

The breakfast was not good. Yogurt was out dated, need more fruit to choose from

Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful when we needed directions. Breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious. We could hear upstairs footfall a bit. We also were not thrilled with the breakfast staff as she was upset that people put coffee in their own coffee cups and had to make more. She was then grumbling about refilling other food as well. Not sure if she likes her job, but in this hospitality industry she did not achieve the standards.

Breakfast bar far inferior to the one offered by a comparably priced Best Western motel in which we stayed on the way back. Front desk people cheerful and helpful. Not as sparkling-clean as that Best Western, either. As a retired school teacher, I'll grade it a C : you could do better, you know you could!

Deadbolt on lock did not work. Phone did not work. Coffee pot did not work. Breakfast in the morning was good. Staff in eating area very good and friendly.
