SANA Sesimbra Hotel

I thought the bathroom needed refurbishing, looked very old and tired. The breakfast, although plentiful and a good variety of food items on offer, the hot breakfast was not hot, it was luke warm at best due to the dishes being prepared and left on the hot plates for guests to help themselves and we were not late for breakfast we were in the dining room for 08.30. The sea view from the bedroom was spectacular.

We went to carnaval and out Experience with SANA were unforgettable. The best central location for the show. Nice warm swimming pool. Good food. Overall- we spent a great day off.

Loved it, great service and very clean. Will definitely go back.

The position of the hotel, across from the beach and surrounded by bars and restaurants.

Very comfortable bed, great views. Staff is very helpful. The pool and rooftop lounging areas are nice. The location here is very accessible to the town and beach. I wouldn't consider the hotel as having parking since they say only a tiny car will fit. There is a car park at the end of the road that they should just direct people to. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Loads of choices. Drinks in the skybar are expensive by Portugal standards unless you just get house wine or beer in which case it's only about double the going rate.

Location is very good. The staff 's customer service lacks attention to the customer. Restaurant staff are slow and the lunch food, pasta dish ,was costly and not well prepared.Parking and excess to beach is very good. They are priced higher than close by , Atlantita Mar Hotel. Which is a much better stay .

We stayed in different Sana hotels, and this one was really sad. In front of the waterfront, charming beautiful location needs very well renovation. Rooms are so narrow so we couldn't walk through. Pictures on the website are done so good that you want to book, but when you enter the room feeling is that you are back in 00's. We were trying to find the switch for the bedside lamp(only one) for 20 minutes: and after proper search we found one behind the pillow :( of course during the night while we were sleeping we managed to turn all lights on several times. Quite interesting location for the switch. Hairdryer is so old that we even didn't bother to make him work, and let him stay on the pension. Most irritating thing for me was overpriced drinks in the bar: milkshake cost same as an alcohol cocktail, Gin tonics with good Gin cost more then 15Euro. We come from Danmark and 15Euros here costs Champagne long island ice tea not 4cl Gin Tonic. Besides all that pity wedding anniverasary vacation stay in Sana Sesimbra, the staff are great, always happy to help and always smile. Thank you guys.

The overall hotel experience was good. The parking garage was tight and confusing to enter when first checking in, as you have to stop on a busy street to ask at the front desk. The location was fantastic, just steps away from the beach.

A very nice hotel with a great location on the beach. The parking is very expensive-12 euros a night. The receptionist told us about free parking about 7 minutes walk away,which we used every day and there were always spaces. It was my 70th birthday during our stay,and had mentioned it on the booking and also to the receptionist when we arrived. Thought I might have got a bottle of something in the room,but nothing happened. Was very disappointed,as I thought a 4 star hotel would have done something. Also the 1st night we were given a room without a balcony as requested,but they they did change our room the 2nd night,but it caused a lot of disruption unpacking cases. These might be little things but I think the hotel needs to take note. It didn't stop us enjoying our holiday,and had a wonderful time.
