I was in Rome travelling by myself and it was difficult to find my way around. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and it was reassuring. The location was fantastic for walking and exploring Rome.
Quiet rooms and a great breakfast with fabulous restaurants around the corner
Brrakfast not do great, particularly quality of croissants, canned fruit with too much sugar,
We cannot complain about anything. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and room service was outstanding. We will always stay at the Hotel Londra & Cargill when next visiting Rome.
How helpful the staff was. Especially Miercole he was always very happy to see us and it was a pleasure staying here.
The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area but close enough to walk to all the attractions. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Nice hotel located in Piazza Sallustio, in between Termini and Piazza di Spagna. Quiet and safe neighborhood, though it could look better and cleaner, but it is Rome! The hotel has parking, reasonably priced by Roman standards. Well connected to the historic area through metro and the hop-on/hop-off buses (driving in Rome is not a good idea in general), and if you like to walk you are about 25-30 minutes from the Forum, or 15 minutes from Trevi. My room was spacious with clean (recently renovated?) bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The breakfast was very good, though they could have had more fruits and better yoghurt, but those are minimal issues. Overall, a very good deal for money.
The most excellent thing about this hotel is the front desk staff! They are the best in the world, for friendliness, knowledge of everything, and helpfulness. I would hire them to work for me in a heartbeat! Their smiles when we walked in the door, tired from a day's touring, welcomed us "home" in the most charming way. The hotel is lovely from the lobby to the breakfast room, to the rooms. Nothing in the rooms looks like like a chain hotel. Each room (I have stayed here before) is slightly different in personality and decor. For my grandsons and I, we had a very large room with a queen bed and a daybed, a huge bathroom, bidet included, tub and shower combo, and two very private balconies. The breakfasts are everything you might want, and some things you might not think of. Wifi worked great. I don't know what other amenities there are, because we didn't need anything else while being tourists. The location is in a very quiet area and we walked to everyplace for sightseeing, but we like walking. There are good restaurants nearby, not touristy, but local. The Via Veneto is a short walk, and a few good restaurants remain there. I almost hate to give this such a good review, because I don't want it to get crowded for when I stay there next visit! It is great value for the money, and if you speak English, the front staff will be the best thing money can't buy for you in Rome.
