Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lancaster

I was happy with the stay, however they should’ve posted on the website the pool was closed.

Overall it was a nice clean comfortable stay. The room was clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Our neighbor also must have enjoyed their stay as well bc we could hear them “wrestling” on the bed throughout the evening. I feel the nightly rates are a bit on the steep side but it is what it is. There are like 2 or 3 hotels in that town so you either pay the going rate or drive to another town. Seems like a safe, clean area, close to a whole variety of stores and restaurants. I would stay there again.

We were in town for my grandfather’s funeral. Upon arriving to the hotel there were about 5 cars in the parking lot. We asked the hotel clerk if we could check in an hour early (2pm) and she denied our request- stating that a group of softball players had just left and that they were still cleaning the rooms. She stated that they didn’t have “enough rooms” to be able to allow us to check into our ONE hotel room- but that our room “should be ready” at 3pm. She was not accommodating at all- and the hotel was certainly not too busy that we could not have been allowed an early check in. In addition, the 3rd floor smelled of smoke, the rooms are not well maintained (all of the wood surfaces were worn, the office chair in the room was torn) and didn’t appear well-cleaned. Would not recommend.

Our experience at the hotel was excellent. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, and close to many restaurants and shopping!

Personally, I don't like to see the entire staff having a smoke break at the front door when I pull in for the first time. Then they run inside to stand behind the front desk, but need to finish their personal phone call first while I wait for 5 minutes. The rooms were clean, but common areas were not. Floors weren't swept, washer/dryer didn't work, and the walls were quite thin. Was an "ok" stay.

The room was clean and bedding fresh. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Overall room was good. The morning breakfast service was very lacking. Of the 4 juice selections, all dispensed water. No hot food was in the serving buffets and there was several people waiting for food service.

We came to town for a wrestling tournament! The kids loved the pool, breakfast was good, rooms nice, beds very comfortable!!!

Overall stay was very nice. The breakfast wasn’t so great but really this is a minor critique. I’d stay here again and recommend to anyone.
