Holiday Inn Express Atlanta - Emory University Area

Stayed here for taking daughter to Emory. Great location. Staff was nice and helpful. Will stay again in the future.

The room was cleam and roomy. Though I did have problems with my keys on the second day, the representative quickly corrected the problem.

It was peaceful and tranquil even though it is located in downtown Atlanta. The bed was so comfortable. It was a great place to relax.

Things was limited do to covid19 no pool an no hot breakfast but it was a quiet an clean ....

Fine property structurally. Ruined by the curt, discourteous, ghetto staff at the front desk. I guess that’s what you could expect in Atlanta. In any other city the level of professionalism and courtesy and common decency would be more.

Everything was good to great. The link on Hotels.com said that room had kitchenette but there is no rooms in the hotel with kitchenettes. The Breakfast was great, omelets were yummy. They actually had flavor.

The property was clean and simple. Plus, the facility it was convenient to the location I was visiting.

I liked the room layout, good amount of space. Good breakfast.

I booked this hotel in anticipation of, "You get what you pay for". I was wrong with this. this hotel is way too much overpriced for the services they provide. I will recommend anyone planning to book this hotel to book "Motel-6" or "Super-8" or some other cheap motel to get exactly same services and rooms this hotel provides. let me share few things 1. Rooms were clean (exactly similar to a cheap motel- no difference 2. around mid-night when we were sleeping, there was a loud "False" Fire-alarm. my daughter got scared and woke up and it took us 2-3 hours to put her back to sleep. check-out was 11 AM in the morning but we all could not get sleep becuase of that mid-night fire alarm. In the morning, I requested the manager on call to extend the check-out time as we just woke up from sleep due to bad night and she said "we are unable to extend the check-out time, we understand your concern but we are sorry and maximum we can do is just half an hour". I asked can I get Bell in the room for to take luggage downstairs, she told me "first of all, you have to come get it yourself, second of all the elevator is out of order so you will have to take stairs and bell can't be taken through stairs". me and my wife had to carry all the luggage down through stairs along with our 2 years old daughter. overall it was a horrible experience and next time I would prefer to stay in 50$ motel where I can park my car just outside the room and sleep in peace all the night.
