Hotel Roc Flamingo

We enjoyed our stay it is very conveniently situatated. This is our second visit. Would return again

It’s an ok hotel. We were the younger ones there. It seems to be one of the hotels that tours use and i means more for older as in 60 yr old and above. They had a pool that i didn’t not visit. This hotel is about 25 minutes away from the city center of Malaga so if your looking to go out, it could be an expensive cab/Uber ride out daily. They also do not have an iron on site which I find crazy. You have a luggage full of wrinkled cloths and you can’t iron them.

When arrived at hotel they asked how much we paid on Expedia. When they saw our Expedia reservations with the price paid, they said there were no rooms available even though we had paid. Instead they shipped us off to the Roc Casta Parc which is well away from downtown and a much lower class and price hotel. Antonio the senior person on duty confirmed we could not have rooms there. Very disappointed in Expedia.

Good rooms and location near the town and train station

Not a bad hotel, good location, even had a pillow menu, no British bacon or sausages but there’s still plenty of breakfast choices, never tried lunch or dinner as only B & B

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a good location. Other than it was disappointing, very old amenities, noisy sound from the air conditioning, noise from game room/and pool. Bed wasn’t comfy. Also there was a line to check in, I waited for 30 minutes and my room wasn’t even ready at check in time. I won’t stay there again.

Centrally located near pedestrianised town center streets, 10-15minute walk downhill to the beach. Room 519 spacious with large balcony, at the end of the corridor, quiet location as requested. the building I reckon to be about 40 years old but clean and well maintained. Nice selection of foods at mealtime, gets busy but not overcrowded close to end of mealtimes. Pool small but clean, shallow for kids at one end. At the time of our stay, the guests were mainly Spanish couples and families. The pool never overcrowded, many activities during the day, but most guests seem not to use the pool much. Kids activities in the evening, well run and staff friendly.

We booked the Flamingo on a whim after visiting Torremolinos one evening and having stayed there as a couple 23 yrs ago, we were with our 13 yr old daughter and had a room with twin beds and a single, the room was immaculately clean and the bathroom was spacious and modern, the balcony was small but usable ( and a little tired) but the service staff and food was excellent.

They told me they had parking and all inclusive on the booking but then had to pay extra on arrival

The 4 starts hotel was not 4 but 2... Tired and old...is not importantt if is old but we'll look after.... Need some love and attention.. Not only painting but cleaning deeply...because is in the centre of Torremolinos I shouldn't expect less ... We spent one night there and went to another Roc Hotel.... The food was poor and boring.. Noisy... Pool area tiny...deceiving pictures
