Hampton Inn Buffalo South I90

I was traveling on a breavement and found out through my parents who arrived the day before that the hotel was closed and they were rebooked down the street. I had to call the hotel to find out that this was the case. I was rebooked at a hotel next door to my parents and they only rebooked my first night. I had to then go back down to the desk the next day to have the rest of my reservation transferred over. Lack of communication and repeated efforts to move the reservation during a time of grief was the last thing I wanted to deal with. Hotels.com needs to take Hampton Inn Buffalo off of their available rooms to book to avoid this in the future for others.

First, I did not get to actually STAY at the Hampton. We were moved to a Country Inns & Suites up the road a tad for unexplained reasons. The carpeting in our room was grungy. The pillow cases stained. When we turned back the bed-covers, there was HAIR in one of the beds. Due to Covid, there was no maid service to help/do anything. I had to run out to walmart and buy sheets and pillow cases to use. I removed the hotel bedding and just used those. There were icky brown stains on the drapes and even on the wall art. Staff at the reception desk was very nice. I paid for Hampton and got what amounted to a no-tell motel. Will be finding a new hotel next trip to my hometown.

I was furious to have my daughter arrive at the hotel to find out it was closed and that we were not notified. After speaking with the hotel, I was told that Hotels.com was notified that they would be closed for the night. I called Hotels.com and spoke with two different people who were not helpful at all. I am disgusted with both the Hampton and Hotels.com

This hotel was closed, and I was not advised. I will say that the evening manager was exceptionally helpful in finding me another room in the area. I am disappointed that I was not advised that the hotel was closed. I have been a customer for some time. Yet, the gentleman staffing the desk was exceptional in his service to assist in finding me a new room.

I booked hampton inn....when I got there the hotel was closed for remodeling, no one ever told me and I was redirected down the street to the staybridge suites. I would not compare the 2 hotels and if I would of known that I wouldnt of booked the hotel. Staybridge suites are not as nice as the Hampton Inn. I was very dissatisfied with everything and not being told ahead of time.

It was clean, staff friendly the pool and hot tub were nice, could of been a way better breakfast, crappy fruit watery eggs yuck.

Amazing front desk staff! You can tell they are happy and enjoy their jobs😍 breakfast was great and room was clean and comfortable...would stay again!

Desk clerk was very helpful!! After a very long day he gave us a bottle of water and told us how to order take out

Everything was wonderful. The room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable!
