Extended Stay America - Fairbanks - Old Airport Way

The reason I stayed here is that this place is under new management, and the managers are as awesome as the housekeepers, and workers here, no hidden fee's, no problem checking in and out. I had to stay one more night, and the manager said, I can have the same room, as to where when this place was managed before new management the old manager said, I had to check out and come back at 3pm and they didn't have the immenities I requested, so this is the place.

First of all I would like say there were alot of sketchy ppl on the property. They all seemed to come out in the evening. 2 ppl were actually passed out in the stairwell. But more importantly the elevator was very dirty. The rooms had the absolute bare minimum. There wasn't even an alarm clock. Much less usb chargers. I would not recommend this place to anyone w/families. And you have to be comfortable around ppl under the influence of drugs or alcohol during your stay.

Located conveniently close to the airport and local shopping. Staff was very nice.

It was terrible had to immediately ask for toilet paper, the toilet had a leak, the fan in the bathroom was way too loud. It had an oder( looked like ppl opened up windows to smoke) I will not be staying there again.

Old dated quite dirty place. Many long term people there. Check in acted like, oh we dont have any clean rooms, but when pushed she found one?? No breakfast at all, not even coffee?? Couldn’t use pool or workout?

The bathroom tub was still dirty there was hair in it, bed was extremely uncomfortable and local calls are $1.00 per call. The staff was unfriendly and never at the front s’est plus the extension of my reservation costs more than what hotels.com quoted me in the first place.

I booked 2 rooms for our employees - they left and didn’t stay because the rooms where so gross. There was bugs and urine , the sheets and towels where dirty. Do not recommend.

It appears that the Coronavirus situation has been an excuse to cut staff let the halls get dirty and do away with ammenities

I booked a three night stay and the room was dirty when I checked in, staff was unavailable to clean and no other rooms were apparently available. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room and bath myself. Not once during the stay did housekeeping visit. Terrible place only exacerbated by barking dogs throughout the nights. Avoid this property if possible.

Good place, close to Fred Meyers (everthing in one store) and would be better if the COVID-19 was not happening, pool, gym and daily breakfast is not happening now.
