Jamaica Palace Hotel

The staff at Jamaica Palace were very pleasant and friendly however, they totally did not know what to do when we checked into the hotel. Four young ladies were all looking at each other with no clue as to what they were to do, at one point they all left us standing at the check-in counter. The staff needs extensive training and management should be ashamed of themselves for not training giving them enough training. The hotel was completely out dated and old with flower decor, there were no comforters or blankets in the rooms. When we asked the staff for a blanket, we were told “No we don’t have any” we asked 2 nights in a row. The lock on the door for our room did not work, and was told we had to lift up on the lock in order for it to open. The pool look like mole was growing on the bottom black spot everywhere. I would never recommend anyone to stay at The Jamaica Palace.

Had a great stay at Jamaica Palace while visiting the wonderful beaches in the area. The staff at the hotel were very attentive and did everything they could to make us comfortable and welcome. The food was excellent and better than the typical all inclusive hotel. The hotel had a lot of interesting art work. The grounds were beautiful and the parrots interesting.

The palace hotel was very clean and staff was nice in professional!!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Jamaica Palace Hotel. I have been coming to Port Antonio for years and I cannot stay at any other hotel except the Jamaica Palace Hotel. It is the absolute BEST in the area and in the world. Staff and management were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The manager Freddy is so lovely. He is exceptionally friendly, kind and warm. He really made my experience here even better. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities are amazing. This hotel is truly a palace and the staff and management treat you like royalty. Having worked in the customer service industry for years, I commend all of the staff and especially their leader Freddy, on an amazing 5-star experience. All of the staff are well-trained and know how to do their jobs to perfection. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to the Port Antonio area. This hotel has something for everyone and you will be treated like royalty. Thank you so much Freddy and Jamaica Palace staff for making my stay in Port Antonio an amazing experience.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Palace Hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and pleasant, making the experience enjoyable. The pool in the shape of the island was a unique and relaxing place to be. The decor is attractive and I enjoyed the aesthetic. The manager was very friendly, offering us a free upgrade on our room.

The staff was very fei3ndly and accommodating. We actually was given a free upgrade and was allowed to choose from 4 rooms. It was very central in the town and the grounds were well kept. I would recommend this property

The overall experience was good. We would have liked a better variety of Jamaican food expecially for breakfast such as ackee , saltfish , soft yam etc. The manager did go above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. Waitresses , housekeeping and front desk staff were very kind and approachable , we would stay again x

Loved it. We booked all inclusive and the food was amazing. Very friendly staff, superb size room and wonderful view from the large balcony over the harbour.
