Ramada Plaza & Conference Center by Wyndham Gillette

Leaky shower and sink, couldn't control the air because the knobs were broken. Extra pillows but now pillowcases, no extra bedding. The real kicker was that we were staying in a suite there were all of the needed kitchen items EXCEPT a coffee maker?! Thats a first for me, no coffee maker is a deal breaker. Tired hotel, has been used up.

Needs updated. Was a family friendly place to stay

Older building but very clean. The a/c in our room didn’t work well and we were in a room by the stairwell. We weren’t able to get clean towels as there were none available. I did really like the area by the pool that families could gather, play games & swim. Overall it was a very good stay!

There was not anything that was redeeming about this location. Our room was run down, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling down and the lighting was questionable. The lock on our door was non functional and upon inspection there was a bottle cap jammed into the lock. (This all got fixed quickly, but was a little alarming) On numerous occasions the staff was outside one of the main entrances smoking cigarettes and having loud personal conversations which included rough language. Overall I was unimpressed with this location.

Very poor condition and extremely disorganized! The rooms were dirty and the property in general is run down.

Room was clean, but the whole facility is rather aged and in need of updating. Some groups of people hanging out in the parking lot left me with concerns for my vehicle safety, although nothing was damaged. Couldn’t control the temperature in the room. Overwhelming cigarette smoke in the room on more than one occasion - this is a non-smoking facility. I decided that it was no longer worth staying there with my asthmatic child as it was making him feel ill. Found another Wyndham hotel that had an available room and asked to vacate my 2nd night at this hotel charge-free. The evening manager refused to fully refund me, citing that we had not complained timely enough and they could no longer rent the room. When I called back the next morning to speak to a higher-up about the situation, evening manager backpedaled - blamed her subordinate, made excuses, said she didn’t smell cigarettes (she was not on site when I complained), etc. She ended up reimbursing me in full, but probably only bc I had asked for the higher up. I still spoke with the higher up manager and expressed my overall dissatisfaction with my stay there and the way the evening manager had handled things. The front desk clerk (subordinate) had handled things appropriately as did the higher up manager. I would not stay here again.

For the price it was a good room. The bathrooms could use some updating. The hallways smelt like pot

Was not impressed by the stale room and it’s lack of cleanliness. The bed was in poor condition, the pillows like rocks and there was an odd noise every time the room above us turned on their water. We will pass on this hotel the next time we are in Gillette.

Place is rundown, rust and mold on bathroom ceiling and walls. The bed had a low spot as if it was bent right in the middle all the way across.

It is hard to expect much when the price is right. Don't expect anything special. You can expect friendly staff, and a well located hotel
