Motel 6 Ogden, UT - Riverdale

This place was horrible. Front desk lady made a troll seem warm and friendly! She said I had to give her my wife’s state issued ID also. I said there is no reason she needs my wife’s id. After a minute of this she said she was going to refund my money and not give me a room. I went and got the id. I came back in and she said she wasn’t going to rent to me. I of course went to the car and had my wife get a room with one adult. She went and got the room. We got in late and the bathroom light didn’t work. So either close the door and be in the dark or leave it open why you use the bathroom! Shady folks everywhere at this motel. The next morning I went to the office to tell them the light was out. Troll lady threw a fit and said she was going to put me on the Motel 6 86 list!!! I can’t wait to stop there again!

This hotel was typical of an off-Interstate, overnight place to rest after driving. I was worried because of some of the reviews, but was overall fine with our accommodations. No hair dryer or shampoo, just soap. But I was prepared:) A little noisy from the highway, but nothing that let us awake. Would stay again.

Overall great bed, very nice that we could open the window and had fresh air all night. Price was great! Some issues with the cleanliness. First room, was not cleaned, second was cleaned, but they forgot the desk, which was dirty and greasy from eating. They should have someone check the rooms before assigning to guests. The check in person was very nice and did a good job.

Our rooms were clean and serviceable. For a short stay, they were great and a bargain at $43 each per night. If you are there on business, you will really like the configuration of the desk in the room.

Good customer service

The screen on the faucet sprayed onto the counters, and there was soap but no shampoo provided (would have been handy since I forgot mine and most hotels provide it), but the bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Overall it was a good stay.

Right off the freeway - convenient access, clean, simple and affordable.

There was no fan in the bathroom and they checked someone into the room above me who arrived at 2am with a dog. It woke me up and interrupted my rest because it was so loud. I was also disappointed not to have a microwave but I didn’t notice that amenity was not avail when I selected that room as I was tired from traveling.
