Hampton Inn Tampa-Veterans Expwy (Airport North), FL

Check-in was seamless. Front desk was very helpful throughout our stay. When we decided to extend our stay they were more than accommodating. The room was clean and well stocked. The bathroom lacking an exhaust fan made for steamy showers, but I appreciated the fact that the water was hot quite quickly!!! I highly recommend if you’re in the area to stay here. Just beware of how gps takes you as you arrive to the hotel. Our gps insisted we take the toll route, which was 80¢ If I recall at the exit and the toll free route is the same exact time. The area of the hotel can be tricky due to the multi-lane divided roadway it’s on but we didn’t find ourselves bothered.

Stayed 3 days no room service at all not even garbage from room taking out. Informed staff regarding the situation informed that they would sent someone immediately no one ever show up. No breakfast the worse experience in any hotel. They claimed 4.5 stars I would not give them one.

It was an over night stay. The hotel wad very clean and well organized. Easy to navigate.

Good place to stay - convenient to the airport. Cookies were a nice touch.

We check in early room was not ready we gave credit card to the lady, and she said everything was ok only thing we need to do when we come back was to get our suitcases When we came back the guy in front desk ask my husband for credit card we thought it was to confirm, later I check statement and I see that he put the charge for room again, following morning I go front desk and let them know, that the guy should have been able to see that the room charge was there already so they said that when I leave the charge was going to be in the first credit card that was given on the second day of our stay when we left the room we took out the Do not disturb tag on the door when we came back at night the room was not clean, I call front desk and Jody answer the phone, I told her that room was not clean, and she ask my room # she was looking for something in the computer and I told her at this moment all I want is clean towel, and then she told me that the Housekeeping manager pass by at 4:20 and took a picture of the tag hanging on the door and I told that we took the tag out before we left and she keep saying well I am telling what I see here, then I told her if she was calling me a lier following day I go and talk to the manager Dawn explains to her everything and she said, at this time I cannot offer you a free room I said to her we are not asking for anything free Just want you to know what had happen she said I will take care later that night in the room there was 1 towel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was a great assistance in our stay. They helped us finda nice place for dinner and picked us up right after dinner. The drivers were a delight and very friendly. The breakfast was much more than i am used to when i travel.
