The fact that there is no air conditioner is a big problem mostly from June to October since it can get very very hot and unpleasant, other than that money for value its a good hotel, nice area, have supermarket close by and the staff is very nice and helpful

The stay was overall very good. This hotel is located in a residential area but is very close to 2 metro lines and main tram/bus lines, which makes it easy to travel around town. The room was very big and the kitchen area was great! I recommend the neighbourhood as there is tons of good restaurants, parks and shopping streets close by.

The weather was amazing, hotel and area fabulous. Shops, underground, busses and supermarket were all near by. Fabulous trip.

We have stayed here several times as the rooms are large, with separate bedroom, living-room and small kitchen. It’s very clean and, whilst slightly out of the centre, close to an underground station. There are several supermarkets and good restaurants very nearby. However, the furniture and furnishings are increasingly tired looking - there is now a real air of neglect about the place. On this occasion the dish a washer was broken (a sign told us we’d could leave our dishes and they would be washed), the fridge door wouldn’t close properly, the safe didn’t work, our fan started to make a loud clattering noise which meant we wouldn’t be able to sleep, our tea and sugar weren’t replenished after our second day and, to cap it all, on our last day the lift was broken and no-one had thought to put a sign on the door on the third floor. We mentioned the fridge and the safe on our second day. We were told the fridge just needed defrosting and that would take a long time - it was 35 degrees outside, and had clearly been like that for a very long time! We complained again on our second day, but again nothing happened. When we complained about the fan, it was eventually replaced, but only after my husband absolutely insisted. Things do sometimes go wrong in hotels, but mostly the staff are eager to rectify things. Unfortunately not here, where indifference seems to have become the order of the day.

The service at this hotel is a joke. During my stay my door handle was broken by the cleaning staff and I could not access my room. It took over two hours to fix (meaning I missed the event I was in Berlin to attend) and then I was told I had to change rooms. I was first offered a room that stank of smoke and then a smaller room. I was offered no help or meaningful compensation (apart from ‘the minibar is free’). I was also told that I would be contacted by management, but over a week later that has not happened. Aside from the bad service the rooms are tired and dirty; the dishwashers don’t work; the beds are hard and the pillows old and uncomfortable. I would never stay here again and I would advise against anyone else doing so.
