Rainbow Lodge and Inn

Great little motel/inn in a very accessible spot by the highway. Nice interior and exterior, with older, but very charming furniture. All necessary amenities were there, and there was an excess of chargers to use. Overall the room was decently clean, save for a few spots here and there. There was a little bit of highway noise, but that's to be expected with the location. Management was very friendly in our limited interaction with them. Should we come through again, we would certainly stay at the Rainbow Lodge again.

I flew in to spend Labor day weekend with my son and grandson. The hotel was clean other than the spider that ran across my bed. The pool however needed attention to say the least. The entire time around the edge was a ring of dirt and there were areas where the stucco had fallen off. They did try to make it family friendly by putting pool toys out. For the inflated price because of the holiday I probably should have chosen a nicer hotel in town. It was not really worth the 10 minutes I saved to be close to the mountains.

It was very cute and quaint. Older but still nice. I would stay here again.

We were here 10 days in 80+ degree days with the Air conditioning was turned of nearly every day. Coffee was done after first day. Sheets were never changed. Toilet paper had to be chased down with an arm way over there. Soap was done after 7 days. Has a potential. But WOULD NOT stay again.

The view from my room was absolutely amazing! I had the mountains to the left, and sandstone formations from the Garden of the Gods straight ahead. Everyone that I encountered was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the location was amazing, and I had a great experience. I'd definitely go back!

Was there for 3 nights during the "off season". No breakfast since off season but room was super cute and clean and overall great stay.

The first room was not anything like the photo displayed on website. The second room was not what was in the photo. To rent the room that was displayed on the website would have been an additional $60. So my family amd I unload the car and turn on the heat it was 15 degrees outside. The heater didn't work made the room colder even, the door didn't lock, TV didn't work or the remote either way TV would not turn on and the smoke detector beeped every 15 seconds. Room didn't smell very fresh. We politely refused the room and the lady at the front desk refunded the next night since I had booked it for 2 nights. I called and got another hotel for my vacation. I called hotels.com and wad informed that I couldn't be refunded the first night. I understood but was terribly upset by the fact that the owner was angry at his wife for refunding my second night amd said that he absolutely was not going to refund anymore of my money. Very sad establishment in my opinion.

The location was awesome for a trip to The Garden of the Gods, the staff at the front desk were welcoming from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I recommend the deluxe room, we had a covered parking spot, a kitchen and giant king bed. The room was as big as a one bedroom apartment, I was pleasantly surprised.

This is an old motor lodge which was not apparent from the website photos. It also did not show the peeling exterior paint which - by August - cannot be blamed in weather. Rooms were reasonably clean, but very outdated in decor and dark. Shower was good but towels are cheap and thin and lightbulbs were burned out. Pool was clean but the stair rail was dangerously wobbly! And the chairs were stained and dirty. Breakfast was minimal with mostly unhealthy food - a surprise for Colorado It could have been really cute but it wasn’t.
