Comfort Suites Auburn Hills

Was roomy, but overall room was dirty, with a musty-smell.

I had a late check-in (about 7 pm). When I arrived, the front desk attendant was on the phone, apparently working on some issue that prevented her from giving me enough time to look up my reservation and issue my door card for nearly a half hour. After given the card, discovered many suites were under construction, actively, even as late as it was, hammers banging and all. My room was pleasantly clean, but I couldn't get over the service issues. I called front desk to get the Wi-fi password, only to have it ring until the voicemail picked up. That same attendant was too busy on the phone to answer or call back. I walked up front to retrieve pizza delivery and saw that she was seated on the floor in one of the suites under construction, talking with one of the contractors. Needless to say, never got password. CoVid meant no pool, no breakfast, coffee, or ice. The only bright side was the exterior part of the property, a small inland lake, nestled behind the hotel. For the price I paid for this stay, I definitely thought service would be better, even if the room was nice.

Very poor security- my door didn't lock, and when my keycard stopped working, they only asked my room number, not my name or requesting my ID. No breakfast, no pool- two reasons I booked here. They're really not consistently following basic sanitary guidelines, let alone COVID protocols. Many employees working without masks. This place does not live up to it's description nor it's rating.

Great staff despite system issues

This hotel was terrible I will never return they have no vending machines o r ice machines no breakfast went to the front desk and got creamer for my coffee cream was spoiled and made me sick air quality was terrible if you have asthma or any breathing disorders you can't breathe really oi

Never going back they need to remodel rooms not just lobby!

Made reservations through Hotels.com which went smooth however when I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm they didn't have a room due to construction. Nobody from the hotel called me to inform me of this.

The room was just OK. Bed was not very comfortable. Mattress felt old. Tub had random hairs in it as though a dirty rag had been used to clean it.

Missing shower curtain in room, pool looked blah and water with greenish tint, friendly service at front desk and neat little market but overall was not overly excited or disappointed.

The pool, while warm, was a disaster. It was in disrepair and looked a mess. The hot tub didn't have any working jets. The bathroom off the pool was blocked off by a trash can and a shelf for pool towels, but there were never any towels. Our room had a fridge, but it never cooled any of our items. The things we needed cold we kept in a cooler with ice on them. The staff told us the mini fridge was in perfect working order.
