Ibis Liverpool Centre Albert Dock – Liverpool One

As I pulled into the car park, two people who can only be described as ‘crack heads’ were sat on the wall outside. Both started to eye up my car and the equipment for work that was in the back with an expression that suggested Xmas had come early. Convinced that my car would either be broken into or missing completely in the morning, I decided not to stay and checked into the Jury’s Inn over the road. Much nicer hotel, friendly staff and secure car park with no ‘crack heads’.

Great location although paid £10 parking and it was lockdown i had to go in hospital for the day operation. My husband had no where to wait so we paid for extra time in room and still got charged more money for parking which was a bit thoughtless as it was like i say lockdown and nowhere to go indoors. The towels are threadbare.

I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is what you would expect from an Ibis hotel. The only staff I had dealings with were receptionists, who were all pleasant and helpful, and the people who prepared breakfast, and Barbara went out of her way to make people feel happy and enjoy the very limited menu the hotel were able to offer because of Covid. I would stay there again

Good central location opposite Albert Dock

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The only disappointing thing was the mattresses on the bed. They were about an inch thick and uncomfortable. We still managed to sleep but after the second night we both had back pains. Other than that the hotel was brilliant. Lovely staff. Lovely food in the restaurant

We had great stay compatible bed nicely presented breakfast and all staff we spoke to was so polite would defo stay again . Was in perfect place of the docs and for our planned meals.

We travelled as a family group of four and stayed in two double rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and next to each other. The buffet breakfast was unavailable, but the food that was table served was pleasant, also the evening food was very limited and over priced. Obviously our visit was during Covid restrictions and I know the buffet breakfast here is very good. I would recommend eating breakfast here but eating any other meals across the road in the Dock area. This Ibis hotel is in a perfect location to visit Liverpool attractions or if you’re coming to a show at the Echo Arena. The staff were all very helpful and friendly even though they were having to work in difficult conditions. To sum up :- Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, great location and cheap parking. Many other hotels have no private parking and nearby parking can cost up to £20 a day. Staff are spot on.

Great location, felt covid safe. Rooms could do with a facelift. Staff polite & helpful. Breakfast was table service, not a great selection, but need to get down early ?? Later breakfast time means overdone, dry food. They need to use thicker bread for toast as the thin bread was hard & dry. That said the location made it worthwhile.
