Middletons Hotel

Overall a very nice hotel. We opted for a cozy double room. The room itself was huge and on the whole well presented. The only fault we could find was the bathroom, very old and outdated, in need of a refurb. 3/4 size baths should be a thing of the past.

Very pleasant, roomy hotel. Bedroom was very large and clean with good facilties. Reception, bar and restaurant were also good. 10min or so from station and city centre walking. Close to river. Recommended

Chose a comfort room and very happy with result. Clean and modern, with really good comforts such as fresh milk and Yorkshire based tea and biscuits. Really easy walk in to York, as well as Bishopthorpe Road, which has a few bars and restaurants, as well as some really popular places for breakfast.

Fabulous location lovely room friendly staff really nice full English which couldn’t be faulted. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but ok for one night. Be warned that the hot tap in the bath is INCREDIBLY hot. Just had to wait longer for it to cool as the cold tap pressure was low. Very minor issues. The hotel itself is really nice. Outside areas are well kept. Will definitely stay here again

Very centrally located hotel with good amenities. Staff helpful and the room clean and comfortable.

Came for a 3 night stay with my friend and god daughter.My room was well decorated and clean,as was the hotel itself.Walking distance from the center was great.Staff lovely and helpful.Just a good stay all round.

Good hotel ideally situated within walking distance of York centre and many attractions. Staff were all attentive and polite plus COVID - safe although service in the restaurant was a little slow.

The staff were very attentive and pleasant at all times, the hotel was exceptionally clean and our room was spotless. We arrived late afternoon and all car parking spaces had been allocated but the receptionist was so helpful and found us a space to park overnight to then move in the morning when other guests had left as we were staying for 2 nights. We had an evening meal reservation for our 1st night and so glad we did as the food and service was excellent, the breakfast was also of the same service and quality. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others we had a fantastic stay for our few days in York as location was great.
