Clarion Collection Hotel Carlscrona

Great location overlooking the inner harbor of Karlskrona. Friendly staff, great service. Had the complimentary dinner on arrival. Order a bottle of wine, corked unfortunately but replaced with sincere apology. Room was clean and well equipped. Hairdryer a bit weak but that was the only complaint. Breakfast had good varieties of classic full breakfast and was fresh. Cozy hotel that is close to everything. Had dinner across the street at Sjörök which I also can recommend.

“Light dinner” was actually a full meal. Totally unexpected, and pretty fair taste. Great quality price relationship

More shelf surface in the bathroom. My husband kept his electric razor on the high shelf next to the door. It fell off and was destroyed. It was very inconvenient having to keep most of our bathroom items somewhere else.

Loved the breakfasts especially, and have never had complimentary dinners. Staff is terrific. Loved being at the marina... Only critique, operable window too small for adequate ventilation

Perfect location near train station and close to everything of Karlskrona. We stayed one night to visit a relative that was in the hospital. When we arriverad there was a buffet, the good was very good!

Great location; really good breakfast....except the coffee was quite weak. Staff was really helpful and very pleasant. Room was a bit small....very hard for 2 people to move around at the same time. Bathroom was a good size, with a big walk-in shower.

Great staff...Really a 5-star, 3-star hotel. It's as good as you can get...nice location near downtown. Breakfast and evening meal are both well prepared.

Everything was good. The room where clean and fresh and good size. The food was very tasty and was included in the room-price. The breakfast was amazing. Everything you wanted was there and more! The location was also very good and close to the city center.

We stayed for two nights over a weekend and our stay suited our needs. Good location, really handy for us. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable beds and good WiFi. Parking was close by and on the weekend it's free. The bathroom was a good size, however, there were only two thin bath towels for two people. I found the room too warm. There is no air-conditioning and there is only one small window that can be opened and even though I had this open the whole night, I found it had to sleep. Clarion Hotels always use the same thick duvets all year round and in all their hotels, it is a bit strange? Something else that was strange, were the small holes in the walls above the lights in the bathroom and above the mirror in the main room! They were obviously there after repairs or changes from moving these things, but why wasn't the job done properly? The hotel offers free breakfast and offered a good variety in a typically Swedish style. This could be eaten in a beautiful glassed-in conservatory which was really cosy over looking the garden. Also a complementary evening meal is offered. When we left the receptionist promptly prepared our receipt and handed it over with a smile, but she never asked "did you enjoy your stay"..it's a shame, they are small things but they do bring down the overall experience.
