Leonardo Royal London City - Tower Hill

We were upgraded to an amazing executive room for my partners 40th birthday with views to die for . Then boom The room shower was broken , the room service people didn't clean our.room i.had to.tidy it up . They closed facilities with no heads up . breakfast without notice .thwir after service is the worat . dont know whether it wa scause of covid but overall service was very poor .Plus side near all the landmarks of london . rate it 5out of 10

It was very comfortable and clean. Everyone was very kind and service was very good when we visited to bar.

We went to stay for 2 nights here. Hotel was so close to Tower Hill tube which was so convenient. Service on arrival was great, fast and friendly. The swimming pool and gym wad closed due to renovation which i wish i had known when I'd booked as thats essentially why i booked this restaurant. Saying that though, we really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean, good service, such comfy bed and a good view. The bathroom could do with being updated but it wasnt the end of the world for the price i paid. The only thing wrong with out room was mini fridge was not working and the coffee machine had no pods. Not sure if thats all covid related. We will be back, its such good value for money.

Very disappointed as we never got to use our room due to lockdown and if we wanted to rebook it was going to cost us over £100! Really not happy as it was supposed to be a lovely overnight stay after a bad year! Hotels.com who we booked through were supposed to get back to me with an answer to if we could use our same deal we used with original booking and didn’t bother.

Room was really nice, unfortunately a fight broke out on our door on the last night at 3.30 am and reception did not anwer the phone, nearly had to call the police for a resolution. Also satff were unable to locate an item we left in the room when i rung up the next day, which seems a little suspect, because it would not hav been hard to find. Other than these 2 things the hotel was nice and the staff were too but it's hard not to be a little let down by no one doing anything about someone trying to barge your door down, and also being unable to help with a lost item.

Lovely hotel but too few staff on the desk. Lots of small to moderate issues that were not resolved. Couldn’t shower for duration of stay (3 days) as the water was set to scolding hot and the dial was broken. This was never fixed and no explanation, apology or alternative room was offered. Also impossible to sleep because of lots of noise in room next door until 2am on the first night and further issues on the second night. Not enough done to resolve this despite 3 trips to reception in my pajamas. Staff not particularly welcoming or helpful. Got the impression they were barely coping. Also most rooms do not have a view.
