The Langstone Quays

This Hotel is easy to find and if travelling solo you feel very safe, with easy well lit parking. The hotel and room was very clean and the staff were professional and friendly. The area around the hotel is rural with lovely views across the estuary. The breakfast is a good standard and well presented. The pool is a good size and pleasant design, however hopefully the hotel has plans to refurbish the pool soon as there are a number of tiles missing in the pool and the surrounds look a little old. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel although the harbour view is disappointing as it isn’t exactly of the open sea. Hayling Island is some way away from the parts of Portsmouth that I wanted to visit as well so you need to be driving to do city centre stuff. Staff are amazing and thoughtful once you have their attention. Had breakfast in a nice restaurant. I’d give the food quality 2 out of 5 stars

The rooms need updating and so does the gym/pool area. No veg available for the breakfast.

Lovely stay at this hotel, room clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities and smart TV. All staff friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast. Great location for traveling out in the car but also for having a walk. Would recommend but would also return

the hotel is gradually being refurbished a d is getting better but no time for complacency. breakfast needs fine tuning this far in to covid 25 minute wait isnt good! why don't they extend breakfast by an hour?

We found all the staff helpful and friendly, all were covid knowledge and all wore masks, our room was very clean just a couple of minor things but it didn't stop us enjoying our stay. Breakfast was very well organised and hot and tasty, we will return, thank you

Service was excellent. The hotel really has thought about COVID safety. The food was good, we had breakfast and dinner. I was unable to use the pool once as it was full, due to COVID rules. I would upgrade my room next time as the bathroom was tired.

Lovely big room overlooking the harbour with a super comfy bed. Definitely worth paying more for the view. Hallway and stairs to rooms looking a little tired and could do with a little updating but the hotel was great otherwise and a nice bar/restaurant area. Friendly staff and the hotel asks for all guests to wear masks in all public areas - not a problem for me. All staff wearing masks/visors and plenty of antibac stations for hand cleaning.

Overall a nice place to stay. Check in was very slow as there was a computer problem. Then we were wrongly directed to our room, the wrong end of the hotel. Then the door key card didn't work. No lifts either so all bags need to be carried up stairs. Nice large room and bath room but really hot. Too hot. There was a fan but no aircon which is really needed. Staff very nice, drinks reasonably priced and lovely breakfast. Very nice surroundings too. Would go back.
