Obsługa hotelu bardzo miła. Hotel znajduje się w centrum wszędzie osiągalny piechotą. Łazienka czysta duży pokój z małym aneksem kuchennym, gdzie można sobie zrobić śniadanie lub ugotować obiad. Wi-fi dobre. Ogólnie wszystko było super. Polecam

I was travelling by myself and had a great stay. The staff helped me with several things including planning my trip to another town. Oh, and the bar connected with the hotel has great beers!

I liked the hotel, the way it was built in many different small sections, and that it was in the middle of the old city, rooms were big enough. If I come again to Riga I'll definitely stay in the same hotel again.

Fabulous location, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Even had apple pancake on pancake day! Room is good, TV has lots of channels, love that. Surprise essentials such as shower cap, shoe shine and shoehorn. Can adjust your room temperature which is nice. Overall very valuable price for what you get. Would definitely recommend it

Pros: location Cons: We paid 60 euros a night for the following; Stairs and no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up yourself, no offers of help from the staff. 90's furniture and style room No ceiling light so the room was very dim, only light was from lamps and the light that bleed in from the so called blackout curtains. Mattress was lumpy and hard and the Pillows Were like rocks. We woke up with sore backs every day until we flipped and rotated the mattress ourself and even then it was only just bareable. Laundry prices were obsene - 10 euros to wash 1 pair of jeans. Not enough tables for breakfast so we gave up and went somewhere else after waiting over 10 minutes on multiple days to find somewhere to sit. Cleaners changed our towels every day but never made the bed or changed the sheets or even cleaned the floor. When we arrived the floor was covered in dirt and dust and when we left they were all still there. Mold in the shower grout Towel rack barley holding onto the wall Cracked tiles in the bathroom The water from the tap isn't drinkable bug we were not informed of that at check-in and only found out from reading the hotels information booklet. So even with a complimentary upgraded room to a suite I would rate this as a 2 star hotel at best. It's well located but don't expect to get any sleep on the bed. As for us personally we will never be staying at a Rixwell again it's just way to expensive for a 2 star hotel chain.

Staff spoke good english. I had a 1 bed room that was vey big and quite. Breakfast buffet was great. The only complaint is that it took a while to check in because Orbitz doesnt collect the $ up front, so you need to pay when you arrive.

Interactions with the staff were strained, at best. I had the feeling that front desk staff and servers were doing me a favor when rendering. the most basic services (like circling the hotel on a map or checking me out of the hotel). The breakfast was adequate, service not too attentive. The hotel's strengths are its history and location, but not much else to recommrnd it.

I have stayed here before and chose to return because of the great location in Old Town, and the price/value ratio. The room sizes are above average and comfortable. This is not a luxury accommodation, but great if you are here to enjoy Riga and not stay in the room all day.

Location is fab and interesting building in cloisters. Staff were super friendly... Small office zone to print out boarding passes. Nice bar area for nightcaps

They have a fantastic breakfast. Will go there again if I visit Riga. The young lady working the front desk has outstanding customer service skills. The cafeteria crew do a great job with the breakfast service, two wonderful young ladies and a young man. Highly recommended this hotel.
