AC Hotel Ciudad de Toledo by Marriott

Chef Ruben here at the AC Cuidad Marriott is magnificent. He transmit his culinary art to palatable delights. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean. The particular room we stayed in, although clean needed to be updated as the bathroom granite countertop is old, worn and cracked. One would expect more from a Marriott Hotel.

Nice room but noisy plumbing. The location is very good.. removed from the noisy inner city. View rooms not as stunning as pictured. There was a lg power pole obstructing our view. The price was very fair for this location.

View is good, location not bad. Hotel restaurants & hotel bar closed, even the nearby restaurant closed because of Monday. So the only way to have dinner is drive to the old town and crowd with travellers, or get a can of beer and pop corn from hotel lobby.

Good air conditioning. We were upgraded which was appreciated. Nice terrace which we made use of when the sun went down. Could have done with a clean though and our windows were filthy. Very uncomfortable bed and any movement in the tiled hallway outside was very audible. For a completely isolated hotel sleep quality was extremely bad. Breakfast was very poor. Little selection and no cold platters or chiller. Cheese was ‘sweating’ so we avoided the warm cold cuts of meat. Yogurt looked as if it had curdled. In the reception was a large cooler with cold drinks for sale - so why no cooler for the food? With August temperatures in Toledo not very hygienic. Hotel is about 30 minutes walk outside town. We had read that a bus stops outside the hotel but discovered this bus only runs every hour. Also no covered car park. We have been travelling in Spain for 10 days and this hotel was by far the most expensive and the most disappointing. I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of good hotels in Toledo.

Beautiful property. Our room had a view of old Toledo which really added to the experience. Room was clean, roomy and the bathroom was excellent. Close to town - can walk easily, but far enough that it was quiet.

Very good hotel. Room excellent. Short taxi ride to centre of Toledo. Only let down, not much choice for breakfast and very expensive for that small choice. Easy to find and good parking. Fantastic views. Would stay there again.

Second time staying at the AC Marriott in Toledo. This hotel offers incredible views of Toledo, free parking, easy access, excellent location and great customer service.

Very close to everything. Even tried the food at night and that was also very good and reasonably price. Staff extremely helpful. Beautiful views right up the street. Traffic not too bad. Easy to park the car.
