Good location within 15 minute walk to the old town. Quiet, secure and reasonably well appointed

We recently spent 5 nights at this property. Based on our experience we can’t recommend this hotel to others. There were two major issues. The first issue was the hotel was unable to control the temperature of the rooms. Our first night we noticed the room was a bit chilly but not to a degree that we complained. Apparently others did because the hotel had their technician turn on the heat. The problem with turning on the heat was it made our room unbearably hot. According to the thermostat in the room (you can’t use it to adjust the temperature only the fan level) our room was 80+ degrees the remaining days of our stay. I spoke to the front desk three times about the uncomfortable temperature and all three hotel representatives made it clear there was nothing they could do. Their suggestion was that we open our French door to the outside. We opened the door to let cool air in but I wouldn’t have done it if I had been traveling solo. We were on the first floor and there was no screen so anything could have come into the room. Our room shared a courtyard with what appeared to be private residences. To add a level of safety I moved the small table by the door so if anyone attempted to come in we would be woken by the noise of the person running into the table. The second issue was the free WiFi was unreliable. It sometimes was hard to log on to their WiFi and when we were able it would kick us off after 30-45 minutes and we usually wouldn’t be able to get back on.

Loved the proximity to Oktoberfest. Maybe a 15 minute walk. Right next to a beautiful river and park area. Was excited that parking is offered for 19e. Store right next door with all of the necessities. Had a fourth floor room, and had a nice view overlooking what I think was the back of the hotel. So much greenery. Breakfast was pretty good. Not sure I’d pay the 16e per person if you don’t pay the upgrade price while booking. I think I paid 10e extra when I booked the room. Only downside was I found no less than 10 very long hairs on the bed and pillows. Made me think that the sheets had simply just been reused from the previous guest. Not sure how else that many like hairs would be on the same bed. Otherwise, would recommend staying here due to proximity to Oktoberfest, and parking garage.

Great hotel in a great location. You are a close 15min walk to Marienplaz or a block away from 2 bus lines that will take you to pretty much anywhere popular in the city...or the main train station. More residential neighborhood so it is quiet but there are still multiple nice options for food/drinks within a few blocks. Staff was amazing and the room was large and well laid out. Definitely would stay here again.

Really enjoyed this place. Rooms were very clean. Located not far from some main attractions.

Room and bathroom were clean. But a few things left less than perfect impression. The single bed was to small and was literally right against the wall where you would roll over into it. And was frim to the point of being uncomfortable.The pillow and blanket were also way to small. The room safe also didn't work.

Property had great location. Many things didn’t work in our room. Blow dryer, lamps and other lights, electronic blinds, and both toilets. If you put anything other than a liquid in the toilet, it wouldn’t flush. The room and hotel was nice if you visited in 1981. Staff was nice enough and room served most of its purpose. We had contacted front desk about hotel issues, but wasn’t addressed. Could have been communication error, or just lack of care. Who knows?

We loved it. Very courteous staff, beautiful grounds, amazing view. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time here but I would completely recommend it to anyone.

Extremely clean and well-maintained property, friendly staff, and wonderful buffet breakfast. Quiet location a short bus away from Old Town.

Great location to access town and good value, room well appointed and quiet, staff were really helpful. Will stay again.
