Very nice

Very nice clean hotel great location nice wine and cheese hour offered and breakfast in the morning. Disappointed that they now charge for parking as they didn’t when they were a best western plus. Still a good choice and I will stay there again.

The staff at Victorian Inn were phenomenal! Kind, generous and pleasant to talk to. Lauren went above and beyond to make sure our anniversary trip was special. We will definitely be back.

Will definitely be staying again!

The gentleman at the front desk upon check-in was absolutely lovely. He remembered us the next day too and was just so warm/welcoming. The happy hours each evening was such a nice touch - not over the top but just perfect. The breakfasts were delicious and catered to many populations (healthy, veggie, meat lovers, etc). The parking was convenient- we have a SUV but could understand the severe incline for sports cars. Just be thankful it was free in that area! The rooms were a little chilly with minimal blankets and hardwood floors so be sure to turn up the heat. Walking distance to everything: aquarium, restaurants, downtown along the walking/biking path, beach, etc. Although the hotel is on a major street, the noise was minimal.

Great and more than hoped for!!

Such a welcoming staff. Never got to happy hour but breakfast choices were more than expected and very copious. My young grandchildren really liked it as well. Rooms were very nice and the shower terrific. Thank you for having a great. Offer maker in the room. Beds were very comfortable and parking very convenient. It was a real win for us!!

Great service. Loved the amenities provided (breakfast; treats for animals; candy at the front desk; small gift of kid’s choice at check in). All very nice and unexpected touches to the stay. The staff at breakfast/ wine and cheese are extremely hardworking and kept food refilled as fast as they could. The front desk staff and housekeeping were also very friendly. Only wishlist item: more options at breakfast such as freshly cut fruit; bacon; and an extra waffle maker. The waffle making station was always packed. Overall, this is a great location if you want walking distance to the cannery row/aquarium and restaurants. All the highly rated restaruants we checked out were one or two blocks over so we didn’t have to drive much for lunch/dinner.

Super Friendly Staff

The main building of the hotel is a really adorable little victorian style house. However, the are a somewhat attached apartment stye looking building right next door. The service at this hotel is great. They do a wine mixer and breakfast. The location is great to. Within walking distance to cannery row and the aquarium. The only complaint I have is the room. Not sure what in the room made noise, but something made a noise all night long that sounded like a golf ball rolling across the floor.

Quick getaway - great location

Great breakfast included, nice clean rooms. Easy walk to cannery row and aquarium. Staff was great! Will stay again. Pet friendly too!

Family Trip to Monterey

We visited from out of town for a family trip to Monterey. Although we arrived earlier than expected, the hotel had a room available and we were able to get us checked in immediately. The staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful during every encounter. The hotel room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. We never ended up using the fireplace, but might try it on a subsequent stay. There was also a safe in the room for valuables. The bathroom door didn't have a lock, but this wasn't much of an issue for our small family. We had a small issue with the thermostat, but raising it higher helped to force the heat back on - so it wasn't an issue at all. The wine & cheese hour was a lot of fun! I hope the hotel is still offering this on our next visit as well. The hotel longue was also quite nice. Breakfast was a little bit more limited as my family isn't as big on sweets, but there were still enough options (including yogurt and fruit). The hotel also had a nice parking garage with an elevator (which we didn't need, but would be nice for some guests). The hotel is also conveniently located to a lot of nice restaurants and Cannery Row. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and we'll probably do so for a subsequent stay that we're planning in the next few months.
