Lovely Hotel, Good Food, Staff very helpful. Great area, only downside : 'bugs'. Not sensitive myself no problem, but a member of the party was badly affected. Seems attracted at night by the light. Also problem Pool for people who are not good swimmers. No gradual sloping but a sharp drop to a depth of 1.80m - too deep for most of us to stand in any part of the pool. Beach an alternative, except when high winds blow.
Beach was great and nice and close Prices do not reflect the property, it's definitely overpriced. €50 per person for a buffet (which doesn't include water and doesn't let you bring your own from the room) that one night consisted of scallops and kangaroo stewing away in their pots- surely any half decent chef would know they would be overcooked and rubbery? Staff are friendly Resort is very noisy at night
I am so fed up with the BS that when you ask for a room change, all you hear is that we are FULLY BOOKED LIES !!! But they have room changes for an additional charge ?? NEVER AGAIN !!!
When we checked in, the hotel staff person was very nice and accommodating. When she showed us the room, we were very surprised to find an outdated room with absolutely no view but overgrown trees from the balcony. When we asked for another room they wanted over $250 per night additional. We told them we paid over $1,000 per day to book the room and expected more. They told us we should have booked the room directly on their website and not through Expedia as we would have gotten a much better deal. The rooms need updating for the price they charge! We were told we would move to anther room of equal value the next day. That night in the first room the outdoor bar played loud music until 1.30 AM and then the kitchen staff being located right outside our room started making tons of noise at 6.30 AM. Needless to say the first night was horrible. The front desk manager seemed to keep repeating a scripted message over and over again when we complained. It was a horrible feeling that did not seem to matter to this gentleman. He offered us the upgraded room for another $120 per night but we didn’t want to pay more for our room than we already did. The other hotel staff and restaurant workers were excellent. The beach and pool staff were great as well. We ended up having a great time but not worth the money. Booking through Expedia should protect us but in this case worked against us as they have us their worst room possible.
One of the best experiences we’ve ever had! There is a ton to do at this resort, with a beautiful beach and beautiful pool. Incredibly friendly staff and amazing food. Don’t expect to get a great deal on food and drink prices, but if you’re willing to pay for a good quality will find it here. Breakfast is included with the rain and it’s an absolutely fantastic breakfast.
amazing location, fantastic beach, staff are lovely. rooms are decent size. pool was very cold and does not really have a shallow end.not so good for a non swimmer like me so couldn't get into the pool at all.I have a 5 yr old so we did not get any pool time at all. really needs a heated pool with a shallow end so families can play
A nice resort with lots to do and friendly staff. Lots of families
My husband and I stayed here for 11 nights. We are from England and seemed to be the only English people staying. Our room was a bay side and we could see the pool, lake and beach in the distance. Very beautiful view and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony. Our room was clean and comfortable. They are Mediterranean style and fitted in perfectly with what we expected. Wouldn’t want a clinical white tiled bathroom and room when staying in Sardinia. The buffet dining was good. Again not the best we have had. But plenty of choice although after 11 days it was becoming a bit of the same. They had a special every day but the rest of the food was more or less the same daily. And if you are a fish lover you are in for a treat. The beaches are excellent and it’s a pleasant stroll to the beach or a shuttle that takes a couple of minutes. It is a bit remote and 3 miles into Vallasmius but to be honest apart from the beach the town is nothing special and it’s not very picturesque in the day or evening. We hired a car and would definitely recommend. You can take a nice trip along the coast to some fantastic beaches. This area is not very commercialised and would say only go to this area if you want some good beaches. There aren’t any shopping towns nearby to mooch in. The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We had an inconvenience during our stay and they couldn’t do enough to rectify it. They certainly want you to have a good time.
The hotel is set in beautiful tranquil grounds. The beach is idyllic, the sea transparent blue and clean. The beach is a short walk from the hotel by the salt lake with beautiful flamingos. Plenty of activities throughout the day from sea aerobics, volleyball, tennis, zumba or one can just laze on the beach beds sipping a smoothie or two. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, each with a balcony facing the well kept gardens. Food is plentiful and fresh with a good variety each day to suit every palate. Evening entertainment is actually great fun. Most importantly what makes this hotel a perfect stay is the staff- a special thanks to Prince, Ciro, Ricardo, Melissa, Antonio and Mohammed. The service is exceptional. I certainly would go back.
I was disappointed with the hotel. I t was in a remote location but didn't have a beachside remote atmosphere.
