Best Western Plus Pleasanton Inn

Nicely remodeled rooms. Very clean. Bit close to freeway, they provided ear plugs. I did not need them. I was happy to be in clean cozy bed for the night after rough couple days traveling.

Decent place to stay. Close freeway access With surrounding restaurants.

The place is nice but the checkin counter person was not a very friendly and welcoming to a point that he came around to check and see if I was going to put any pets in the room , kinda treating us like criminals and assuming that I was lying to him when I said I will not put my pets in the room, but on the other hand the morning staff were very nice and welcoming when we went to get breakfast

I had a HC assessible room which was clean and comfortable. My only compliant was that the shower did not have a soap dish or anywhere a person could place shampoo, etc. Also, it was not a hand-held shower head, so I found it awkward to shower and wash my hair when using the shower seat. The shower head was also set VERY high up.

I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel employee. The man responsible for checking people in was unnecessarily disrespectful and rude. For example when I mentioned if he could look up my reservation, after he put next to no effort, he said, “ What do you want me to do, it’s not my problem”. Actually good sir...it is. It was 4am and I had nowhere to stay, but he was so incredibly rude that I preferred to take my chances and not even stay at that hotel. I proceeded to help him find my reservation and then I canceled it because of how poorly he handled the situation. Since I booked through a third party I was able to get them to cancel the reservation altogether once I explained how terrible the service had been. The person on the phone was very kind and understanding. I drove down the street to the Courtyard by Marriott and had an outstanding experience. I would advise you all to try to stay literally ANYWHERE else if you are ever in the area.

Overall, it was a great stay! Nice big comfortable bed and the staff was friendly. Two thumbs up. I’d definitely stay again.

I specifically asked for a room with good internet and got the opposite. Disappointing. Other than that the room was nice.
