Best Western Grants Inn

We stayed here on a road trip and this was by far the we hotel we stayed in. The shower had not been cleaned and had lint and hair left in it. We were put in a room right by the door which was nice for carrying this inside but awful for sleep. Someone kept opening and closing the door by slamming the handicap button for about 3 hours beginning at 4am. The bed was comfortable but that doesnt matter when you can arely sleep due to noise. Housekeeping came and knocked continuously until answered 1.5 hours before checkout. When the door was answered housekeeping was not wearing a mask which is conpletely unacceptable during this pandemic. While taking things back out to the car after having our morning interrupted the rest of housekeeping was not wearing masks in the rooms while cleaning or while walking around the hallways. I expected better from Best Western. I would never stay here again. Sadly I picked this property since it was only decent one in my price range in this town.

One of the two inside corridor accessed sleeping rooms hotels in Grants. Lobby and breakfast room is in a separate buding from the sleeping rooms. Rooms have wonderful, easy clean, wood look floor coverings instead of allergen haven carpet.

Shower head was so clogged water just dribbled out so shower was totally unusable. Person at check-in desk was unconcerned when I told her we had not been able to take showers because of it. Water was also so hot it scalded my hand immediately while I was trying to get the shower to work.

Receptionist was rude when I told her I had booked on booking.com she kept telling me she had no hotel rooms when booking.com told me there was one available and took my order after five minutes she finally agreed that she found it. In the morning another receptionist couldn’t verify the amount booking.com was charging me or give me a receipt. Also breakfast advertised but not given.

The hotel was great... the employee, Taylor, at the front desk was excellent. There was trouble with the booking with Expedia and she was very patient and tried to help the best she could with contacting Expedia herself upon my checking in. It was a nice quiet hotel, with a very comfortable bed. Nice clean room. Thanks Taylor for your help. Jill from Los Angeles

Stay was very nice. Only exception was when I called to ask where restaurants were, the Gal at the front desk never said they were carry out only. But got a very good carry out Asian meal. Upon check out I did mention this.

I don't know the condition/state of other hotels in this area, but I picked this one because I recognized the brand name. I only have two negative issues with this hotel, noise and pillows. I don't think there is any insulation in the interior walls as I could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to mine, and you can easily hear noises coming from the entryway. There were 5 pillows on the bed, but they were all the same - too high to sleep on back or side without waking up stiff/sore in neck and/or shoulders; like they are overstuffed. I did not take advantage of any breakfast offering, but it was limited due to Covid19. The room was nice and spacious enough for me for an overnight stay. The mattress was comfortable (despite the pillow issue). The room was clean, including the bathroom. Even with the noise, I would stay here again if I'm in the area, but would want to bring my pillow. The check-in lobby is in a separate building, which seems a little odd.
