Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and the studio with kitchenette is perfect for families.

Small kitchen was really helpful during this time, but it's a little complicated to use the coffee maker. Overall, we're very satisfied with the stay. Thanks!

We just got back yesterday from a 4 night stay at the Wyndham Cantebury. We couldn't be happier with our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were well-kept and very spacious, and it was in a great location. I've seen some of the previous reviews complaining about the location/neighborhood....which is a bit silly. The neighborhood is great. Yes, there are a few homeless folks in the area, but it's San Fran. There are going to be homeless people around everywhere you go. The fact is, I felt 100% safe at all times in that neighborhood, and enjoyed it very much. This is a timeshare property, and they will try and sell you on that (your first morning there), but that wasn't a problem. And for our time, they gave us a decent breakfast and we got 2 free tickets to the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour ($140 value). We would DEFINITELY stay here again. A big thank you to the lovely staff there. Thank you for making us feel comfortable and welcome.

It had great amenities, very clean, and a perfect room

Excellent location, beautiful lobby and unit. Can’t beat having a one bedroom apartment-type unit for the price of a tiny hotel room in SF, especially when traveling with kids! Son loved the game room with old school Pac-Man and pool table.

This is our 4th great stay with Wyndham Canterbury. The Staff is always friendly and helpful. This trip there was an issue with our toilet (it kept running) it was fixed immediately.

I wish I knew it was a timeshare property. Somehow I missed that when booking. Nice hotel and staff, but it means that the amenities are more tuned to vacationing families than folks traveling for business.

I stayed here with my sister for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was ready when we arrived (around 1:30pm) which was very convenient. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It was easy enough to walk to all sorts of different areas, or grab an Uber/Lyft to get around. I won't skip the Timeshare aspect since this was my biggest concern. The check-in counter is separate from the "timeshare" counter if you will. We checked in flawlessly but were immediately stopped to get a map of the city, as well as other information/coupons from a girl working there. The conversation of course ended up at the Timeshare pitch, which I of course wanted to avoid. What I didn't appreciate is that the girl wouldn't let my sister and I converse about when could possibly work for us to sit through their talk. After traveling nonstop for 10 hours, the last thing I wanted to do was feel pressured into agreeing to a time that could work. Yet that's what happened; we agreed to an early breakfast to hear their pitch. Once we got upstairs and settled in, we received a phone call regarding 3 qualifying questions for the breakfast. Having a general idea of how timeshares work, I knew I wouldn't qualify (based on income). We never attended the breakfast because neither of us had any interest (and didn't qualify), which resulted in no repercussions.

I love this property. I was there for 3 days with my family. It was nice to be able to have the space and ability to eat in our room. It was spacious, clean and walking distance to union square and china town. The parking is crazy expensive $45 and they tax you. The other thing it’s bad how much they call you for the time share talk. They say come get your free gift I politely declined because nothing is free. Don’t fall for it. I just wanted to have a good time with my family.
