Crowne Plaza Hotel Melbourne - Oceanfront, an IHG Hotel

Unfortunately During our stay we had a broken elevator, the only luggage cart we could find had a broken wheel- overall I felt like the facility could use a little TLC. A staff member walked in before the 11 checkout out time to clean room...felt rushed to get out before designated time. On a good note the lobby was wonderful, the staff at check in was nice but not sure if we would ever return.

I have been staying at this hotel for years and am amazed how clean the hotel was for our stay.

The hotel was fairly clean. My room was “upgraded” to a balcony. The balcony with a view to the parking lot and no chairs to sit on out on the upgraded balcony. We also paid for breakfast to be included during our stay. We only went the first day. Worst. Service. Ever!!! The servers wouldn’t even look at us while we sat and waited for over 15 min when finally one young lady spoke to us. We requested toast and water. The toast came out after we were done eating. We were never offered other breakfast options. While another party came in they were treated to full service at the buffet as well as other available options for breakfast (pancakes, waffles, etc). We threw out the rest of our vouchers. The flush valve in the toilet of our room didn’t work. My husband and I had to tug it to get it working every time we used it. We became plumbers during our vacation. The stay wasn’t worth it at all.

I booked a double beds and they only had a king bed so we had to ask for a roll away bed. The refrigerator didn’t work. I feel for the price should’ve gave me what I paid for 2 double beds.

This was our first trip to Melbourne and we truly enjoyed it. The hotel is spacious, clean, multiple method to get food from an large outdoor tiki hut, breakfast buffet to Starbucks. We stayed in the main building with a corner oceanfront suite. We had a full livingroom, full bedroom and the kitchenette had a long counter, plus a big balcony with a slider in each room. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was large. Beach lounger chairs and umbrella were available for rent. Get there early! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They were understaffed due to a wedding, but the servers and front desk were still super nice. Highly recommend a drive to the Cocoa Beach Pier and a drink at the Riki Tiki at the end of the pier. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice hotel. Nice, updated rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views from our patio. Food was good, service was good.

The hotel is clean and the pool and beach are beautiful. Parking on the weekends is horrible. My only complaint about our stay is that we paid for parking but had to hunt fir parking every time we left and came back. Beach goers who ARE NOT guest park there without having to pay. It was really inconvenient and annoying. But overall the stay was lovely. Bring cash to reserve chairs and an umbrella on the beach. It is worth it to not have to lug chairs and gear back and forth. They guys who rent the equipment are super nice. All the staff were friendly and service oriented.

Parking was not free. After the front desk the facility is run down. We paid for a gulf front room- we got it but with the tiki bar roof in the way obstructing our view which was really disappointing. There was a band on Friday night directly in front of our balcony. Good thing the music was good and didn’t last past 9pm. We had some pot smoking spring breakers next door- so unless we wanted to smell that- we couldn’t sit on the balcony. The beach was nice- not overly crowded. We paid way to much for this place.
