Bentley Hotel South Beach

Good location but this hotel needs renovation :(

This hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy all the perks of South Beach!

Excellent location, great pool and terrace area, with ample sized room.

Because we had made a reservation later (around 7:30 pm for a same night stay), our check in process took about 30 minutes. Their reservation desk was closed and the woman at the front desk explained it would take her some time to get us in to a room. The $31.92 resort fee was charged upon arrival, as well as a $40.66 valet parking fee. We were told there is no overnight on street parking. They also help $100 for incidentals on my card. We were told check out was at 12, but we could stay until 1. At 12:10 the next day, the front desk called and said they would be charging us $50 for a late check out-we left and we were not charged. Room was clean, but sparsely furnished. View was of an alley and another hotel 10' away. The hot tub was cold. My gas tank was siphoned during my car's time in the valet lot. Obviously, I can't say for certain by whom, however, access to my car's interior is required to open the gas hatch and my gas cap was put back on improperly. My car gives a warning notice when the gas cap hasn't been secured, I was also down about 5 gallons in gas from when we arrived.

Stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed everything, especially the location and pool and hot tub. However, we were mostly looking forward to an evening swimming and then hot tubbing, but the hot tub was not working (same temp as pool). We wouldn't have stayed here knowing that.
