The Peaks Resort and Spa

I will not be staying here again. We couldn’t use any of the resorts amenities because everything was closed it was ridiculous. I definitely want refunded my resort fee back since we didn’t get to enjoy anything at the resort besides the beautiful views. Check in Is at 4pm, water slide closes at 5pm, all pools close at 8 pm, game room closes at 10 pm and the outdoor bar was never open nor was the cafe.

since the dark side of telski took over, the staff have changed every year which is a telltale sign of poor quality control. in 2019 they hired far too many mean-looking hispanics (who are over-saturated in disgusting cologne) who leer at the guests with a jealousy that is very unwelcoming. this isn't a racist comment, it's FACT. their english is poor, they stink up the cars in the valet and they gas you at the dinner table. someone needs to train them to not wear cologne and to be nice to the guests. bring back the happy aussies and the kiwi ski-bums who have a sense of humor and make the hotel inviting! the beds are getting uncomfortable with age and the paint is peeling on the balconies. the golf is way too expensive and the pro isn't friendly either – i had to forfeit my warm-up bucket of balls on the range because of the car show, but the pro wouldn't allow me to hit a few balls in the afternoon on the following day without paying $40 per hour! even though i'd paid for a round and range balls the day before, he told me he wasn't willing to transfer the credit – and the range was empty. this is very bad policy which sends a shitty message to the guests: you aren't welcome. and i've been going here for 25 years for weekend in the fall. having said all that, David at the front desk was exceptionally professional, welcoming, courteous and helpful. you might get the rest of the crew to watch how it's done...

Friendly and attentive staff. Very enjoyable place to stay.

Spa was a great way to relax after hikes.

We always enjoy our trips to Telluride. The pool and views at The Peaks are hard to beat and is what keeps us coming back. The rooms are too hot in the summer and it makes it very difficult to sleep at night.
