There is NO WAY this place has 4 stars. If you love - Filthy rooms - Nasty smelling, smokey "non-smoking" rooms - Dried urine on your bathroom floor - $hit on the toilet seat - Toilets that don't flush - TV's that don't work - Cigarette ashes on the floor - Dirty socks along with all other types of trash & debris on the floor, under the desk, around the bed - Hand prints & smears on ALL mirrors - Pubic hairs on vanity and bathtub - Questionable "characters" hanging out, in and around smoking weed - COMPLETELY inoperable HVAC - Not getting the room you paid for - NONE of the vending machines working - Not having enough towels for all guests - Bathrooms not stocked with toilet paper If all of the above is on you wish list for hotels, you need to hurry up and book this place because you are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The staff was polite & apologetic, which is the ONLY nice thing I can say about this place. Besides all of the above, this hotel, the area for that matter, IS NOT SAFE.
I called ahead to inform them that I would be late. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I called the front desk five times to no avail. The clerk finally emerged and checked me in 15 minutes later. He was polite in spite of my rudeness, and tried to accommodate me to the best of his ability. When I made it to my room, the bed was not clean. There were black specks that looked like bugs on the white comforter. The clerk came up, investigated and offered another room which I accepted because I was exhausted. The new room was decent, but the fitted sheet was stained/soiled. Because I was tired and didn’t feel like complaining anymore, I did not say anything. The overall appearance of the hotel is dated. The corridors have dingy carpets and holes in the walls which are in desperate need of cleaning. This is the worst experience I have ever had with Holiday Inn Express. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this one ever again.
We were assigned to room 401 and when we laid down the entire bed fell to pieces. We went downstairs to complain and was told by the lady working front desk that we had to wait for maintenance to decide if we would be able to switch rooms or not. Maintenance did decide that we could get another room after we waited in the lobby over 30 minutes. The lady working the front desk stated she couldn’t comp us another room, nor give a refund or a free night. I’m really disappointed in Holiday Inn Express
For this to be a Holiday Inn Express hotel this was very disappointing. When we arrived we were greeted with great customer service but the hotel it’s self was dirty. We checked in and was given a room to where the bed had zero linen I told the housekeeper and she looked in the room and said this room is out of order we should not even have been assigned this room. She put us in another room that she had just clean. The icemaker on our floor was broken and on my way to the ice maker another guest asked me if my room was cleaned because she had to pick up trash out of her room and whip down everything. Even though the employees where nice the uncleanliness was not acceptable. I will not be back.
Dirty for a Holiday Inn. Very disappointed. I understand with COVID-19 there are businesses with short staff, but the room was disgusting. Spots on the sheets, crumbs all around the tv stand like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, and we also found dirty Kleenex by the bedside table. Would have been great if someone had actually cleaned the room before we checked in! Won’t be back!
Whoa... after a nine hour drive, we were not pleased with this place. First room was not even made up, still had a "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door, had to run downstairs to resolve (front desk report said maid had cleaned it - could have been a dead body in there or worse). Second room, same floor, door would not open - had to run downstairs to resolve. Front desk said later the battery in the door lock was dead. Third room, new floor, the AC thermostat and phone didn’t work (no cord) and was a double bed; this time I called on cell phone and front desk came up with another room key. Oh, turns out AC was unplugged but I wasn't about to crawl around on the floors. Fourth room was another double bed and phone didn’t work (had a cord though). In general, the hallways had not been vacuumed (ever?) and looked like your teenager cleaned the surfaces in the rooms: greasy/smeared fingerprints on microwave, tv, door knobs and jambs, etc. Can you say "Corona"? Water stains in bathroom ceiling, refrigerator freezer frost buildup... Multiple wall electrical outlets did not work, lamp outlets for phone and laptop didn’t work, sink hot water was turned off (underneath the sink! Positive note: Breakfast bag was adequate and downstairs coffee was good (no way I'd use the in-room coffee maker). Expedia offered a voucher... I'm calling my credit card company to dispute the charge. Paid for a king and was given a double bed - that's an overcharge I'm not willing to pay for.
Filthy pool, NO COFFEE for rooms except for decaf, huge cockroach in room, toilet was wobbly, room wasn’t that clean, windows splattered, cable went in and out, lobby smelled like mildew. Staff was nice but the place is disgusting. Will not be back.
Stayed here for a youth basketball tournament. Was the host hotel so you would think they were prepared for kids and a full hotel...they were not....ran out of clean towels.no bedding for the pull out coach bed.. I personally had to clean the pool for kids to swim in....and NO breakfast...went at 7 am both days and said they ran out or packaged muffins already......and watch for SPIDERS!!!! Spiders everywhere...including in the pool!
When arrived, I had to wait about 10 minutes to someone come to check in. There was no hot breakfast, one of the reasons I had chosen Holiday Inn, and not even bagas to take out some food.
Struggles when check in and payment and the room was dirty with residue in the toilet, hair in the sink, and everything smelled musty. However, the desk worker was very friendly and helpful.
