Marco Polo Presnja Hotel

I stayed at Marko Polo Presnja on business for 4 nights in October. I have not spent much time at the hotel and room I was only sleeping. But to be honest, it was a good thing as hotel is outdated and requires massive renovation. It seems like it was stuck in 90s, sticky stains on the carpet in the room and a bit smelly. Overall I would say it was definitely overpriced for the price I paid and I won’t stay there again. And I did not even stay during the peak season. You can find much better options in Moscow for $140 per night.

What a pity our stay this time was marred by a defective air conditioning unit which rattled all night and a guest in an adjoining room who obviously had hearing difficulties by the noise emitted but the television and his phone conversations Sadly, our last impression was of the duty manager insistent that we use the official taxi company with which the hotel has a contract -R1200 to the station - rather than the local taxi company -R200 for the same trip - and a rather dismissive comment of “what did you come on, a bicycle?” We would have given the hotel much praise, but sadly cannot

The hotel was amazing, good location, friendly front desk, clean and cozy

Excellent neighborhood! Old classic historic building with nice service and slightly dated decor. Modest lobby and modest gym, but ample rooms and modern spacious bathrooms. Didn’t try the breakfast but the coffee is coffee-shop grade.
