Red Roof Inn Philadelphia - Oxford Valley

Bed Bugs. I recently stayed at this hotel, and the day after I stayed there my wife noticed red welts all around my neck and collar areas consisting of about 20 marks that exactly resembled bed bug bites. I contacted Red Roof who failed to issue me a refund for the one day I stayed there. It is also noted, that I asked to check in 45 min. early and the Desk Clerk refused me. In that their check-out time is 11:00 AM and check-in time is 3:00 PM, you would think that 45 min. would not be so unreasonable, unless of course you need the extra time to ensure rooms are more sanitary and won't have conditions to facilitate bed bugs.

I had to leave after 2 hours for a family emergency and they didn’t care would not even refund half my money back. It was a disgrace of a vote to begin with will never stay at a red roof inn again!!

1. The room was DIRTY. Meaning, It was dusty, someone’s left overs from before were still in the fridge, stains all over the bath tub, mold in the bathroom, ceiling was ripping apart. 2. The lamps were rusted on the bottom, the outlets were sparking. The microwave did not have the circular glass tray on the bottom for the food to rotate. Only 1 roll of toilet paper. The ironing board did not work 3. the check in/check out at front desk we’re not wearing masks. Different people at different times still no mask. Had to go to front desk 2 times for key cards not working properly. 4. There was no phone in the room. Service (WiFi) was terrible. The tv remote was half broken. 5. Our stay was quiet, no one bothered us while we were in our Rooms. Barely hear any noise outside. The parking was convenient I expected a bit more for what I paid for my 2 night stay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The agent at the front desk at the time of check-in was very unprofessional. He needs training on customer client interactions. He also needs training on acceptable form of picture identifications cards. He argue with me for 12 plus minutes about a passport being being a picture ID. Training Training

First time I have ever had a deposit clear my account, I travel weekly. Called the front desk to get some clarification and spoke to the rudest lady ever. I would highly suggest staying somewhere else.

If you are traveling from anywhere in the south Spend the extra $50 and Stay somewhere else I have not been back to that area in 5 years I forgot about all the Crackheads Phila and its suburbs have Crackheads everywhere and this hotel had a handful Got woken up by a Crackhead at 1am Knocking on my door Yelling lulu let me in Then at 3 am when another crackhead came looking for lulu But then at 8am when the housekeeper opens the door and ask me if I need towels I was done The staff was very friendly but not trained properly But I can't imaging what they see on a regular basis and have to deal with A under $100 hotel in the Philadelphia area is a way different experience then a $100 hotel in the South Spend the extra $50 or $100 to be really safe

I wish I read the reviews from google, not hotel.com. google was more accurate to our experience.The sheets didn't look clean, no toilet paper, trash behind the bed stand and extremely worn pillows. Only three pillows for two people. Outside was very dirty and every trashcan was full and trash was thrown next to them. It's was not worth the price

They didn’t have any washcloth and then they want to double charge you for the room

Good, clean and met my purpose. Close to many eateries.
