Clarion Inn & Suites Near Downtown

Bathroom floor looked like it had a layer of dirt on it and the door and frame need updated/painted. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant.

Got CATFISHED by the pictures and decent reviews. This place was remodeled terribly and looks great from far away, but not up close. Standard slew of poorly-managed hotel issues. The first room we were given was still a mess with old food and trash everywhere. The second room was cleaned. Except for the cigarette butts under the couch. Door keys quit working on the second night. The AC unit was excessively noisy and would wake me up in the night. It did cool, though. Do not expect the hot water to work either. It took a few minutes to get warm, then would go cold/warm/cold/warm. Pro-Tip: if you run the sink on full blast hot for the duration of your shower, it helps the water temperature problem. The bed was clean and new and fairly comfortable, and the lady at the desk on the first night was very nice. The breakfast was also good/standard. I would not recommend staying here.

The room was too small. Housekeeping in do a good job and making up the beds. They just threw the sheets backup. Our headphones come up missing. But the front desk was nice. The lady kept the breakfast areas clean and the was food hot.

If I'd rated on my first or second day I'd have given five stars. But on my third day two terrible things happened. First- they sprayed for bugs, kicking us out of our room for an hour having said it would only be five minutes. Then that night when the kids and I returned later than we expected, hungry and tired the "restaurant" was filled with drunken locals, so I called the front desk to get our food delivered to our room. He refused and told us to use UberEats instead. All the other front desk folks had been friendly and accommodating but this gentlemen was brusk
