No swimming, no breakfast. Their telling us the city closed down swimming pools but other motels/hotels have theirs open. No breakfast that’s unacceptable others have at least limited breakfast. Then we were charged a $30.00 dollar early check in fee, no problem until we found no swimming, no breakfast.😡😡😡 never again next time I’ll call the motel/hotel directly.
I like that is 5 minutes from the airport. There was no breakfast, no coffee and no shuttle to the airport. (We should have been notified of this before our arrival.) Since their was no shuttle the manager said his guy would take us to airport for $20. Night before we left they guy was rude and said youre going to pay me right? It turned out to be $30. The room was ok. It needs updating. We kept hearing water running inside the walls.

Our first room had a very musky smell. The refrigerator did not work. They did guve us another room which did not smell.
They didn’t wake me up on time to make my flight. I missed it.
The hotel was decent. However, the whirlpool bathtub was broken so we didnt get the luxury we wanted of having a jacuzzi in the room. The concierge was more than happy to offer a discount for a future visit because of that. The only real problem was at check in when the computer had us only down for a King bed room. Without the jetted tub. Even though booking specifically for a jetted tub room on Hotels.com, the system had us for one without. I suspect that fault was on the Hotels.com end, and when I tried to contact them all the Hotels.com phone lines were down.
First when I went to do check in the lady at the front desk was on her phone laughing and watching videos and I told her 3 times hello and nothing. I have to go out to take a deep breath and go back to the front desk. She just gave me the room card and didn’t say any word. Also the hotel AC was completely down, it was hot hot hot, the hotel smelled really bad even in the elevators. A lot of dust everywhere like seriously a lot. The room was just ok. I have to buy Clorox and clean the bathroom. The bed fitter was broken with a big hole. The mattress and the pillow were very comfortable though.
Shuttle driver (5 am) was rude and lacked customer service training, his poor English skills create confusion and his overall attitude was awful. He seemed upset about his job and the fact he had to deal with people. His driving skills were also bad, he is an accident waiting to happen. This type of service is not common in the DFW area. Hotel management should look at improving the training provided to their staff and definitely replace this particular driver.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The cleanliness was great. The staff was cheerful and energetic. I would definitely stay here again. FYI There was a little noise from the airplanes I honestly think this would be the same everywhere given the area.
